Mozilla Firefox 3.5 (Mac OS X)
FireFox 3.5 is incompatible with older Add-ons
After installing Firefox 3.5 I was dismayed to find that several of my very favorite add-ons were incompatible and would not work in 3.5. Luckily, I found and was able to reinstall Firefox 3.0.11 which I will continue to use until the compatibility issue in 3.5 is resolved - if ever. [alert admin]

SlimBatteryMonitor 1.4 (Mac OS X)
This application is excellent! It cuts the menubar space by half and is very customizeable; I easily changed the color of the icon outline from black to blue. I would suggest moving the application from the desktop into the Applications folder before installing. "Calculating remaining time" does NOT work as it did NOT with Apple's battery monitor, since I am using Mac OS X 10.4.7; otherwise this app works great! Thanks. [alert admin]

a screen freeze when the installer attempted to Quit the Finder -- even after I had Quit all other applications. However, rebooting with extensions off solved this problem; all proceeded normally thereafter. [alert admin]

Problems with Entourage 12.2.0 
I have the same problem with Entourage after installing the 12.2 update; it crashes immediately as soon as the splash screen appears - repeatedly, and after restart. Word, Excel and PowerPoint all open normally, but Entourage crashes on take-off. My only solution is to revert back to Office 12.1.9 - luckily I retained a backup!
