Acquisition 126.1 (Mac OS X)
Buggy with Tiger 10.4.4 on iMac G5. Sometimes works smoothly, but often generates the Spinning Beachball of Death and requires a Force Quit (app not responding). Sometimes does not make any attempt to connect. Quitting and restarting the app sometimes fixes this. If it has been a long time since the Mac has shut down or restarted (I usually just put mine to sleep), Acquisition can forget that it is registered. It remembers after a restart. I've used Acq for years and been very happy. This release is buggy with my configuration. [alert admin]

Screentool 2.0.3 (Mac OS X)
To say that it captures "video" is somewhat misleading. It does capture whatever video is playing on your screen, but it only captures 1 frame per second (out of 25-30 fps), with no apparent way to adjust the frame rate. If this is a demo limitation, they should say so. Otherwise I have no reason to purchase simply for still-photo captures of the screen. Mac OS does that already. [alert admin]
