Cyberduck 2.8.3 (Mac OS X)
Since the 2.8.x update (after lot of great services with previous releases), Cyberduck is very unstable and crashy - around half a dozen of report sent last day. When uploading, the size are not corresponding (more than real size) so the message is "incomplete" When downloading, the icon remain as temporary cyberduck icon - very bizarous ! Temporary, I'll come back to "fetch"... 10.4.11 macintel [alert admin]

Apple QuickTime 7.2 (Mac OS X)
CAUTION I AM NOT a specialist ` but I confirm that QT 7.2 stop all rosetta apps To go back to 7.16 - step by step (with admin rights) from System HD backup - I restore all QT components (everywhere) and after reinstall the 7.16 pkgs (backuped at previous update) - (be cautionnly - it seems that he QT framework ƒolder in system/library is important so the re-install detect that 7.2 is out and reinstall of 7.16 is possible. NOW All rosetta apps are working again with QT 7.16 AGAIN BE PRUDENT IF YOU ARE NOT EXPERT or wait a patch for QT 7.2 to recover rosetta apps. Thanks Apple - I have lost 2 hours to find, question, etc.... [alert admin]

Upgrade from // 2.5 : Easy downloaded Easy installed (ugrade install detected) - with the pre buy SN# Reboot as expected Easy to restart W2K (fr) HD Easy automatic upgrade of wizard in W2K webbing with IE6 and parallels quit after first url ???? after restart W2K and quitting normally W2K and clean restart IE6 work as good as with // 2.5 ... I go back to 226 because the 3.0x ->5 is less stable than previous versions... with very simple php files, very frequent crash ! And used with cyberduck, it is frequently impossible to launch or edit the file on the server ! I will wait 3.1 ! BUT IT IS A GOOD EDITOR TOOL [alert admin]

Not a freeware and use it carefully 
This app is NOT a freeware , a message indicate 30 days limit - - please update VT Database - After visiting features, by inadvertance, because NO WARNING - the kernel was paused and 10.4.8 freezed...... the mouse move but how to un - pause ??? [alert admin]

- free to download - easy (step by step) to install app and frameworks - very long to start first (after normal) - impossible to easy to use (too slow).. (gimp or ink is more rapid) - I will wait next version or change my pwb ? - Now I continue to use AppleWorks and InDesign 2.02. And old machine is a good way to test speed of new compiled code [alert admin]

CAUTION : with 11.5 - no more applescript
After recommandation of support, a new version 11.5 was download BUT it is now impossible to use Applescript and include ReadIRIS in a OCR workflow. It is VERY bad - what's a shame ! When a solution ? For present - I continue to use 11.0.3.... [alert admin]

Opera 8.52 (Mac OS X)
A short review : VERY slow download of dmg ! A long startup after installation ! A good list of original features and monitoring during (fast) download. BUT don't follow cocoa rules - impossible sometimes to hide the app (command H, ...) - curious toolbar ! RSS ?? what appear when pressed ? Today - good for tests but not for daily use. [alert admin]
