Microsoft Office Open XML Converter 1.0 (Mac OS X)
So far I have installed this on 12 machines - from an old G4 Powerbook to a Xenon tower. Installation went fine on all but one G5 tower where I can't get it to install for the life of me. Repaired permissions, made sure the permissions for the Office 2004 folder were R/W for all users, made sure no names were changed, etc. One launches the installer and it just quits with no comments and no log entries. Any suggestions would be welcome. [alert admin]

I have a Radeon 8500 with 64 MB of VRAM so it should work, but I get a dialog saying that my card isn't supported. [alert admin]

They need a mirror somewhere else!!!!
The site appears to be in Italy somewhere and the file seems to be downloading at about 2K per second. Anyone know if they have a mirror site anywhere that works at a decent speed?????? [alert admin]

Deneba Canvas 8.0.6 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
8 along with Photoshop and Illustrator and are quite happy with it. Unlike any of the Adobe products we can scale vector/raster graphics to real world units (important for doing metrics off of maps) which is a very nice touch. The latest update fixes a problem with slide shows that seems to have cropped up with 10.2.4 and a few other minor points. It is by any measure not 'a piece of hooey' and well worth its cost. Apple Disc Burner 1.0.1 (Mac OS 9)
a Yamaha SCSI CRW4416. I installed iTunes and it works just great - no problem. I installed Apple Disk Burner and it never seems to be able to detect that blank media is installed. I have disabled all the toast extensions (or else iTunes would not work) - yet iTunes does great and ADB is dead. [alert admin]
