FileZilla 3.2.8.1 (Mac OS X)
Great for big workgroups that need to keep dozens or more 'shortcuts" to FTP sites and settings "in sync" for all users as you can manage all settings and "shortcuts" by copying an XML file to the users. Unlike Fetch, which relys on the difficult-to-manage Apple Keychain for shortcut passwords. Don't know how Cyberduck or SImple FTP handles that -- BUT it is old Windows ugly and confusing to a Mac user. Yes fast, stable and solid, once you get used to doing things the old WIndows way. For big workgroups or managing an FTP server, yes. For indiviudal users, probably not worth the learning curve unless you are used to Windows version. Help files are almost all WIndows-specific (and therefor NOT helpful) [alert admin]

Still does not have Intelligent Mail Barcode, the new standard for US Post Office, so if you can, wait for the upgrade that has that, as it will be needed for all mailings in the next year or two, and is needed now for certain bulk discounts

I don't think this utility is really intended to be used over http. It's intent is to make it easier to copy file paths (with file names) for files on you LOCAL drive or local server. You shouldn't encounter this problem for files that are on your hard drive or your server connected via afp or samba.

Also, be sure that the document you want to check is not on your desktop or loose in a folder with a ton of other stuff. Flightcheck will search every file in the document's "folder", which can take forever. Put your document in it's own folder.

Fusion, nuclear meltdown. Doesn't work at all and crashes alot. But I can't get FontExplorer to activate fonts when there are "duplicates" ie if I have a Truetype Helvetica and a Postscrpt Helvetica and a Opentype Helvetica, and need to use a certain one to avoid rreflow, or even if one font has "condensed" and the other doesn't, FontExplorer will ignore "missing" fonts if one is open. IIf , say Opentype Helvetica is…

Do you have fonts installed in Classic (or did you use Suitcase X1 previously)...? I had the same problem and it turned out that in my case, it was because Fusion not only does not support Classic (won't activate anything in Classic), it will NOT WORK IF YOU HAVE ANY CLASSIC FONTS OTHER THAN THE REQUIRED 4 (geneva monico, helvetia and courier). Any other version of a font that is turned on …
