SoftRAID 3.5.1 (Mac OS X)
Misleading tagline, nothing OSX can't already do
First of all, RAID is not better than backup, it is something that should go hand-in-hand with a backup plan. RAID might help you get the most performance out of your drives or insure against drive failure, but won't help you recover from mistakenly deleted files, for example. Second, Mac OS X can already do RAID 0 and 1 straight through Disk Utility for free, so I have no idea why one would want to spend good money on software that just duplicates OS functionality... LCDTest 1.0.0 (Mac OS X)
Unfortunately, the developer has compiled the project with Zero Link turned on, so it won't run on any computer but his, unless you recompile it. [alert admin]

also try a bit of maintenance and rebuild your desktop files. Restart and hold Comamnd (Apple) and Option (Alt) down all during startup. When the Finder loads it will ask you to rebuild your desktop files. Click OK, get a cup of coffee, then restart again and try the updater. [alert admin]

Apple iMac Firmware 4.1.7 (Mac OS 9)
DV SE/500 (Summer 2000 Edition) with an extra 128 Mb PC-100 RAM module works fine with this update. I don't know if it's just me, but things seem to be a little more zippy than before, too. [alert admin]
