TypeIt4Me 4.2 (Mac OS X)

Registration doesn't stick on 4.2 & Snow Leopard  

After upgrading my OS to Snow Leopard, and to the latest version of TypeIt4Me, 4.2, my registration code won't stick and it constantly reverts back to the evaluation version. Initially when I enter the registration code, I get the "thank you" dialog and it shows as registered to me. But soon it reverts to the unregistered version. I emailed support 48 hours ago but haven't heard anything yet. Going to have to look at other options if this isn't resolved -- for several years I've depended heavily on TypeIt4Me and really need to have a text expander that works. [alert admin]

Saft 10.0.4 (Mac OS X)

WARNING to anyone "upgrading" to Leopard version ...  

I am (well, WAS) a longtime Saft user and promoter. I recently upgraded my Tiger version of Saft to the Leopard version, but unfortunately had to revert back to Tiger on my G4 PowerBook. To my dismay, Saft will no longer let me revert to an earlier version compatible with Safari in Tiger, even though that's what I originally paid for (as well as paying for the Leopard upgrade). My only option is to purchase the whole program again, starting from scratch. And, on principal, I refuse to do that. I strongly encourage the Mac community to discontinue supporting Saft unless and until this policy gets corrected. [alert admin]
