TimeClock 0.1.1 (Mac OS X)

...it's what I wanted, but it doesn't count?

I like the idea of this program but it doesn't know what time it is on my computer. It constantly reports a 0 minute work period. It also thinks the time is always 6:15pm??? [alert admin]

Sunrise 1.8.5 (Mac OS X)

What's with the google thing?

Over a period I've tried a few versions of this because I was attracted by the words "browser for web developer". The developer's site says "If the input text DOESN'T' have the URL scheme, it will be searched in web." Unfortunately, if the input text DOES have the url scheme it still resorts to a search engine. The only way I can directly access any url's is to start by hand typing the "http://" component. What's with that? [alert admin]

CrashPlan 01.06.2009 (Mac OS X)

If it actually ran I'd probably like it.

Installed a version that says it is Tiger compatible. (simply says 10.4) I'm running 10.4.6 and it says that it can not run due to my Java version. Then CrashPlan suggests that updating my operating system "may" help. The developers site also simply quotes 10.4 The application looks promising, however, if the installer itself is dubious, how can I bring myself to commit anyone's data to the platform? Scan Again 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Great Stuff

Downloaded the Version 1.0 package. Followed the instructions on Version Tracker page regarding TWAIN SANE installation before running the package. Scanned to TIFF perfectly, then, to my surprise, the package worked immediately as an Import option in Photoshop. I have an AGFA 1212U which has lousy Classic support under OSX. This Freeware gives better colour matching than I ever got with the AGFA OS9 software. This was all on G4 733 with OS X 10.3.9. Good One! [alert admin]
