iStat 2.0 (Mac OS X)
clipped to the desktop with buttons off / full transparent back - unobtrusive yet very easy to find when required. Recommended!. Two suggestions: please allow me to hide the dock icon! (dock realestate at a premium) and is there any way to exclude it from expose? f11 would be super handy when it is clipped to desk. Cheers! [alert admin]

The great thing about word is that it is so slow. When it crashes, the crash takes so long that you usually have the time to dip out of Word and into Finder, then take a screen capture of the text that you're about to lose. That way, once you've rebooted word you can fire up your screen capture in preview at the same time and retype the words directly, rather than have to worry about remembering what you wrote. This technique works well for multiple crashes too. For the second and subsequent times that Word crashes while typing the same paragraph, you don't even need to re-screencapture it, as you already have a copy. That is a real time-saver. You can even go and get yourself a coffee to calm down while the program reboots. Thanks Word! [alert admin]

MegaCellX 2.5.0b8 (Mac OS X)
Works so well! I've tried logosender and gsm remote, and this wins hands down. Works perfectly with my nokia 8250. The UI is great but could use a couple of features: I'd love to have a preview pane on the sms panel (good for multi sms messages), a retractable folders pane (like the mailboxes pane in mail), hey and why not reply and forward buttons too? This ap is sooo good, and the more it works like an email ap, the better it's going to get ;) [alert admin]

GSM Remote 1.2.9 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
but could be better. with logosender by macmedia i can set it so that sms received by my 8250 come straight to my laptop over the ir. your gui beats logosender hands down, but i really miss that feature! oh... and any chance of sending and receiving calendar information? that'd be brilliant. SwitchDock 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
What a simple, great ap... if only it didn't keep crashing! I've toyed with dock switching apps before, but never found one I liked, i mean they're all way too much, like floating windows, clockbar icons, alternative funtions? (i mean what's up with fundocks doplebonger extra dock thing?)... this: so simiple, so functional, so good: except every time i switch docks the ap crashes. I've never ever paid for shareware before, but if this ap fixes its bugs I'm so there. Simply great. [alert admin]
