Apple iChat AV 3.1.5 (Mac OS X)

Remove this

This should be removed. As previous posters say, it's already part of OS 10.4.7...nothing new, nothing updated...PERIOD. [alert admin]

Absolutely awful

This version is absolutely the worst effort Apple has put forth. I regret every having upgraded and now am having trouble finding the previous or an earlier version. If anyone knows where I can get an earlier version, please let me know. Multiple sites don't render properly, graphics don't load, sites stop loading before completion. It's just terrible. I'm on OS 10.2.8 on G3 DT. If there's fix to this, I'm all ears. But, as of this moment, this is the worst experience I've had with Safari. [alert admin]

AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) 5.9.3672 beta (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)

Piece of crap

DO NOT install this. It will NOT allow you to disable "log in to AIM.com on startup". Tried several times and will NOT. Every time you launch it, several windows pop up. Junk. [alert admin]

Microsoft Office v.X 10.1.6 (Mac OS X)

Entourage (yuuch)

This update is supposed to fix stability issues with PP and Excel, but what about Entourage? Ever since I updated to 10.1.4 (exchange server version), it's been extremely unstable. Crashes on average a dozen times a day. Can't wait for Apple's mail program to add exchange server capabilities in Panther. [alert admin]

Crashes frequently

Generally, I like Entourage, but it's shortcomings in lack of built-in integration with address book and poor junk mail filtering take it down a notch (star). And I use it on a G4 Cube, a G4 DT, and G3 DT, and on everyone one it crashes several times a day, so that takes it down another notch. I'm running OS 10.2.6, and I AM using the most recent Entourage version (10.1.1). Mail is much more stable and does a better job with its junk mail filter, but lacks some Entourage features. Very handy but...

Ditto for me too. Can't see it. It's there (there's a space), and it works.
