iList Studio 3.1.1 (Mac OS X)

Bigger Screen Shots

These itty bitty screen shots are not very helpful. Surely you can manage to take some larger screen shots that we can actually read. [alert admin]

DigiTools 2.0 (Mac OS X)

Only crashes

Just downloaded and installed Digitools. On my iMac G5 10.4.2, it will only crash. This is not something I experience with any other apps and I try a LOT of applications. [alert admin]

Bluetooth to Internet Utility 2.3 (Mac OS X)

Locks up Bluetooth Serial Utility

The instructions have you set up a Bluetooth Serial preference. But once set, it can't be edited or deleted under any condition. Very frustrating. [alert admin]

DYMO LabelWriter 6.0.5 (Mac OS X)

Previoius version worked

Strange that you should have problems. The previous version worked fine and like another person here, I've been printing labels with Filemaker and the Dymo 330 for six months. Scriptable printer selection in Print Center, etc. Works fine. [alert admin]

MYOB AccountEdge 2004 4.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

Ever actually worked with a small business?

"So what is the use of ODBC in accounting? Most (90%) of the small to medium sizes business have zero use for ODBC. Please educate me... why is this so important for a business?" 1. If it wasn't important, why is it a standard feature of the Windows app? It's part of the basic feature set there. Windows is 90% (probably more) of the accouting market and they HAVE this feature. 2. Have you ever WORKED with a small business? Who wants to enter their sales data into MYOB or Quickbooks? It's all done in FileMaker or other databases where you have control over the workflow and interface features, etc. Then the data is transferred to MYOB. Or reports are run in external apps based on accounting data. Ever talked with MYOB people at Macworld or wherever? They've been claiming for years they're going to make application integration easier for the Mac. Oops, it ain't happening. [alert admin]

Still no ODBC/data exchange

Still no support for ODBC or XML or other updated methods of data exhange/query building. Oops, we do ODBC, but it's Windows only, did we forget to tell you that? [alert admin]

OneKey is better...much less expensive

But where is onekey? At least this prgram exists and is listed by VersionTracker. I don't see a VersionTracker listing for OneKey.

You can get this for free!

Yes. And we could all go to community college and learn to forge our very own hand cranks for our cars. It's a romantic notion; but in reality most people don't want to bother when cleaner, more intuitive solutions are available.

TextEdit

Attempting to drag and drop a PDF document into an empty TextEdit window doesn't work for me. How did you get this to work?
