Master Grade X 1.5.1 (Mac OS X)

Not bad, but...

For JKuehn, This program isn't too bad to use, but as JKuehn points out, attendance is lacking, and the organization of classes wasn't flexible enough. I have yet to find a gradebook that is better than Easy Grade Pro, which you can find on Versiontracker. There are versions for Mac OS, OS X, and Windows. All data files are compatible regardless of the platform being used. [alert admin]

Easy Grade Pro 3.6.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

Absolutely nothing better

I scoured the Internet a few years ago looking for that perfect gradebook on either a Windows or a Mac platform. My old DOS program was getting long in the tooth, and it was time for a change. Some were okay, others lousy. None were great. But when I discovered Easy Grade Pro, it was as though I had written the program myself; it was that intuitive. Incredibly powerful and stable. Great support from the author, reasonable pricing. This is one of the best programs I have ever used. EGP gradebooks can be used seamlessly on Windows machines, so everyone on staff at our school is thrilled with our EGP site license. [alert admin]

WaMCom 1.3.1 (Mac OS 9)

Great, but a major glitch

This is a fast browser, and a pleasure to use - that is, until one navigates back several pages using the small arrow next to the "Back" button. Whenever I use that method to go back several pages, I am unable to use the keyboard shortcuts for navigating (such as Cmd-Back arrow, Page Down, etc.), and I can no longer type in forms! Forget Cmd-Q to quit - you have to get the mouse out to drop the command down in the file menu.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm using OS 9.1 on a PowerMac 7200. [alert admin]
