The program is significantly slower that version 5. It treats groups and symbol visibility different and creats havoc with older files. I sent four emails and three phone calls about the upgrade key not working and a week later no personal response and only a note on the site "we are working on it". The previously owned company was much more custormer responsive and would never have released a version with som many bugs [alert admin]

FileMaker Pro 8.0 (Mac OS X)
With so many things that could have been added and asked for for years in some cases this should have been 7.5 and not a full version upgrade. Too greedy for my support. I will have to wait until real improvements are made to pay for an upgrade. [alert admin]

I purchased version 5 and found that the ability to go cross plaform was nothing for me compaired to the inability to use direct toolbox calls on the Macintosh. Too slow, to many limitations. I'll keep waiting... [alert admin]

FutureBASIC 7.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
and used almost every basic language and development system ever made for the Macintosh and PC platforms. This is by far the best. Easy and powerful for the beginner. Almost completely open source for the advanced user. Tight code. Fast. If I could only own one this would be it. Keep up the good work. [alert admin]

After trying three downloads and having none of them complete launching I emaild the company three times no respons. My recommendation is don't bother. It cannot be any good if they don't want to talk to customers.

Thanks for pointing out the version resource error on the program. I will correct the problem and upload a version with that resource corrected. Since you took the time to comment (I appreciate that) I would like to know more of what you mean by simplifying the update process. Please respond to dabs@mycalendarsoftware.com if you have the time. That email should be functioning by the 29 of Aug. Thanks again…

The images in the current version are unlimited size and color depth image resources that replace the previous 32x32 icons that were used. There is no way to continue using the outdated small icons in the future versions.

My most sincere apologies to those of you who have supported My Calendar for years by your purchases. We were moved from our former domain by what can be described as a hostle takeover. The new domain - mycalendarsoftware.com is now up and functioning. We are back....
