Intego VirusBarrier X Virus Defs November (Mac OS X)
Fully effective, simple to use, and cheap 
Where do some of these commentators come from? I've been using this software for a year and it's great. It works perfectly with Panther, updates quickly and easily and as far as I'm concerned, is priced quite fairly. I'm so pleased that I ignored the critics and went with Intego. I will be more than happy to renew my annual subscription when it's due in June. [alert admin]

UMAX MagicScan 4.5 (Mac OS 9)
as it hangs at the 17MB mark - very annoying. However, my 4.4.1 version and Powerlook III work superbly well together on a G3/266. No complaints with that, then, just with this wretched, undownloadable file. [alert admin]

the International English multi-part refuses to be downloaded and the single 82MB file cuts out halfway through the transfer, so I guess you could say I'm doing pretty well, so far {:) [alert admin]
