Startup Chime Stopper 1.10 (Mac OS X)

There is an App Called "Detour"

You can add this menu bar item, and within it each application you wish, and also assign a "volume" to that particular app from 0% to 100%. This beats out this app and all the ones listed below with the exception of Psst which I use also and have configured in my startup items in Sys. Pref. .. Chech out Detour, and trust me, this IS THE BEST for ZIP $$$ [alert admin]

I Second A Motion For A Timmy Screensaver!

A Timmy Screensaver would be awesome! ... Perhaps the Author (or someone who knows how to make these) could have multiple timmies in multiple wheelchairs rolling down hills and off of cliffs! Or maybe getting hit by a mack truck as he crossed the street, against of course the "walk" sign. Uh oh, my sick side has come forth, but is it really worse than poop? [alert admin]

epicflow 1.2.1 (Mac OS X)

OK, Is it me, or can I be confused?

You state on the VersionTracker page that the only requirement for this is OSX 10.2 or above and that's all it states. On your website within the "Users Guide" It states the following: Requirements: epicflow has been tested extensively using images captured by a Nikon D70s on a PowerMac G5 running Mac OS 10.4.2 and iView MediaPro 2.6.4. The software may run on other configurations, but your mileage may vary. Mac OSX 10.2 or above iView MediaPro 2.6.4 So, is it 10.2. thru 10.4.2? and is IView MediaPro 2.6.4 required or not, or is this software meant as a if it works it works and if it doesn't ..... This needs to be clarified. [alert admin]

VaultBook 1.3 (Mac OS X)

Good for you!

The only way to develop and app is to start with an idea. You did that and vaultbook is the result. While some may like or dislike it is not the point. We all are allowed an opinion, that's where the impetus to forge ahead with your idea comes from. To say that you should not be a programmer is unjustified, pointless, and should not deter you from future projects. My opinion? The comment from oryman was inappropriate. [alert admin]

Noof 1.1 (Mac OS X)

Hooray It now works for me!

Tried this when it was offered, about a month or two ago and it crashed my System Preference Pane. Now it works great, I installed it by double clicking the saver itself after I "unzipped" the downloaded installer. Looks great, hats off to the Developer! [alert admin]

QTAmateur 1.0 (Mac OS X)

I Agree About Paying Continuosly For Quicktime!

I could not agree more on Apple devising a way to at least give credit to those who paid for Qtime Pro for a year, only to have an update come out that essentially is highway robbery. I paid for QTime Pro last year in Sept or October, and only got 6 months out of that, for which the next 6 months on an annual fee cannot be applied to Quicktime 7 (which by the way I did not find out until after it downloaded using Software Update, for which, even though I later found out they had a 6.5.3 reinstaller available to reverse this) was done using my time, for which I DO PUT A VALUE ON!) To think that you would have to pay to have the download option availablel from any application in this day of technology is unbeleivable. Are you listening Apple? [alert admin]

Safari Lithuanian Localization 1.0 (Mac OS X)

My Grandparents and my Dad would be grateful

My Grandparents and my Dad, who always spoke in fluent Lithuanian with each other (we often wondered what they were saying), would have been grateful to the person (s) who put this together. This shows how much more integrated the world is becomes every day .... [alert admin]

I Hate That iTunes Done Chime! 1.0 (Mac OS X)

The Word Hate and "wordman51"

Interesting the handle name. One would think that your efforts would be best used to go against those who truly "hate" than those who use the word in a software program. Your comment is proof of one who speaks the talk without taking the walk. Thank you to the developer. I know when I downloading and installing something, and yes, the chime can be annoying especially to those around you who don't wish to be distracted. [alert admin]

America Online (AOL) 10.3.6 (Mac OS X)

AOL doesn't listen to Mac Users!

I honestly can't find any reason for AOL to have an interest in Mac Users other than accepting the same monthly fee's that are charged to a PC user. In return for that payment, Mac users receive about 1/2 the features that the PC user gets for the same amount of money. In my opinion it would be justifiable to charge a reduced monthly fee to a MAC User that is porportionate for less features to that of the PC User. I have complained about this for at least 7-8 years to no avail. It also frustrated me to have a PC User compare my Mac System to theirs solely based on what AOL could do, and nothing more to justify their reasoning that a PC is superior. I only use AOL now when I absolutely have to use my authorization under a friends account to send an email to an AOL User who can't seem to open it up otherwise, or who lacks the knowledge of the PC and the Internet. Someday AOL is going to need to play catchup and they will find a large block of people who are going to need a lot of convincing to listen to them at all. AOL, are you listening now? [alert admin]

Thank You!

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! ... This will come in very handy. For home use, I've got a ton of recipe's (I like to cook, making sure it's healthy!)(and, the bakery went south about 3 years ago, kept my email name tho) Maybe I could use this to organize the recipes that were originally bought in the beginning, but not sold in the end ... Now perhaps I can attempt to organize those $5,000 worth…

CAUTION! DANGEROUS!!

Just what do you all think "Beta" means? It means that the software pretty much is in a "Test", that's T-E-S-T Mode, and to proceed at your own risk with your suggestions requested. It's kind of like being a taster for a brand new cereal on the market, some like it, and some don't. Mikey liked it, I don't. It doesn't mean you will or you won't. Calling it "Crap" is a bit harsh. Anyone…
