I have been a Blizzard faithful for many years. It has never ceased to amaze me how they continually support the Mac platform. I have purchased and own every game they have created for the Macintosh and in some cases I have purchased and own more than one copy. Games are released simultaneously for Mac and PC. No waiting six months for Aspyr to get a Mac copy going. Five stars for a company who ranks best on my list as a Macintosh game developer. Keep up the good work. [alert admin]

Apple iMovie 4.0 (Mac OS X)
Is this iApp still free? I certainly hope so. I have been using iMovie to publish our school news broadcast on the internet for two years out of dediction to the Apple platform, even though 95% of our community uses PC computers. Yes, I have been selfishly forcing them to download a copy of Quicktime in order to view our weekly news broadcast online. Recently, I have used Microsoft's Movie Maker to publish a second version of our news specifically tailored to our 95%. This was only to be a temporary thing...well supposed to be. If Apple is going to force me to spend $50 for the iApps suite, and since Windows Movie Maker is made available to me for free by my school district, and well...since teachers make pathetically low salaries...hey Apple, you catch my drift here. Keep it free or you may find a lot of people "switching" the other direction. As a thirteen year, loyal Macintosh user, I have done everything I can to promote the Apple platform. But, I'm afraid it's a loosing battle in our community of 95%er's. Don't force me to change to WMV because of a simple financial matter. Think different...think free. BTW...I have managed to convert a few! [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X 10.2.8 build 6R73 (Mac OS X)
Update worked great on my 450 DP. I take back all those bad things I said before. Still...Apple, be careful of slipping to the "crappy" support level of those who use that other platform. We use Macs because we don't like the idea of being used as "customer beta testers" when a new release or update arrives. We use Macs because we have come to expect first rate quality in products and software. Don't let us down, otherwise, what difference would it make which platform we use. [alert admin]

Apple AirPort Extreme 5.1.3 (Mac OS X)
Airport Extreme...who cares!!!
Where's the freakin update for the screwed up 10.2.8 OS X update. Note that there are 21 reviews for Airport Extreme and nearly 3000 for the OS X screw up. Apple...get your priorities straight and quit acting like Microsoft. Or are you trying to pursue their philosophy of second rate upgrades and crappy software makes you a mega billion dollar corporation? Come on...I'm getting impatient. [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X 10.2.8 (Mac OS X)
OK...OK...got a little carried away.
I wouldn't give up my mac for all the freakin' PC's in the world. Still...it does trouble me that Apple could let something so blatantly disasterous happen. I guess I got a bit scared and confused. For a moment I thought I was installing a Microsoft Update...you know the kind...that use us as beta testers for their crappy software and software updates. I'm back to my senses now...thanks to the fix mentioned below. (Replacing new appleGMACEthernet.kext with the older version by booting back to OS9.) Please Apple, be careful. If you get too much like Microsoft, it may not make much of a difference to us which direction we go in the future. Since I'm sporting a DP450, very soon I will be looking to replace my computer and I have to admit that Windows XP is more MacLike than any Windows system before. Still inferior...but more MacLike to be certain. [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X 10.2.8 (Mac OS X)
450DP with gigabit ethernet. Absolutely no internet connection now. I AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS. 14 years of loyal Apple dedication but this really pisses me off. Luckily I've got my Gateway laptop provided by my job. I hope apple fixes this blunder soon, otherwise, I might decide to keep the Gateway. Vent...vent...vent...vent! [alert admin]

Blizzard Starcraft 1.1.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Mac gaming a blast. I own every game ever published by Blizzard for the Mac and can't wait for new apps to arrive so I can buy them. I wish all software companies had this kind of dedication to our platform. Five stars for your unfailing dedication, five stars for continuing to support games that were originally OS 9 only, five stars for being the best Mac gaming software developer there is. Oh yeah, I actually own two copies of StarCraft and WarCraft. Thanks Blizzard and Keep IT UP!! [alert admin]

Much faster than IE. Still doesn't handle some important educational web sites that I use weekly with my students for tests and grading. Apple...don't forget that education is the market where you still have a sizable market share. Don't neglect it. Only four stars until Java implementation has been perfected. [alert admin]
