MySQL BackUp 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Not working...

Doesn't work for me either... Applescript error. The variable commandLocation is not defined. (-2753) I get this error both when I try to select a location to save a backup, and click the main backup button. I have Mac OS X 10.2.6 installed. [alert admin]

OmniGraffle Pro 3.0 (Mac OS X)

OmniGraffle Pro 3.0…

is simply incredible. Great enhancements. Initial tests of Visio imports and exports work well. Nice interface improvements. The crew at Omni Group has yet again raised the bar for anyone hoping to release a Mac OS X product. Nice work. [alert admin]

Accordance 5.7 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

Accordance, by no…

means, is paralleled by any other solution. I think it is extremely expensive, but iBible, or any other solution - and I have investigated them all - by no means comes close to it. I wish the app was more Mac OS X like... other than that, incredible! [alert admin]

JSuperChat Universal IM Client 0.9.70129 (Mac OS X)

After quitting and…

relaunching, application doesn't remember account names or passwords... I like the app otherwise, but I'm not going to configure 5 accounts each time I launch it... [alert admin]

Apple QuickTime 6.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

Interesting that QuickTime…

Player does not share the same new window control GUI in the top left-hand corner of the window that iChat, iCal and Safari now share... [alert admin]

Fly! II OS X 2.50.240 (Mac OS X)

Search for file…

named FlyIIPatch240.sit on http://Avsim.com/ in the File Library section. Or, I used ftp://205.252.89.41/dynamic2/62/62a0d373fb0662ccae559b8568f46a20/FlyIIPatch240.sit to download it. [alert admin]

Connectix Virtual PC 6.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

Cloudscout: out of…

curiousity... are you using 10.2.3, and what type of system/amount of RAM? [just wondering how far they stretched that marketing 25% speed increase] [alert admin]

Connectix Virtual PC 6.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

Have you guys…

- Connectix - gone completely nuts?! $99.00 for an upgrade?! Come on! Screw it... I'll keep my laptop PC handy... Mac OS X networks real nicely with it natively to transfer files... Too bad... After all these years, all these upgrades... And this is how you treat your up-to-now VERY loyal customers? Time to also seriously consider some of the freeware packages out there... may not have all the frills but they work (and are fast too) [alert admin]

Microsoft Query X 10.0.0 (Mac OS X)

The software is…

not free... Certainly you can download and install it for free. But, it is a component of Microsoft Office v.X and requires Microsoft Office v.X to operate. It does not operate on its own. And Microsoft Office v.X is a heavy hitting/expensive application. People paid a premium and deserve better. There are valid concerns for providing MS-Query without any ODBC drivers. Microsoft has not done this on any other platform (Mac OS or Windows). They simply don't want to pay the OEM costs of bundling drivers as originally planned when releasing Microsoft Office v.X. Keep in mind

It also allows for the worst of all worlds in some cases. This is an incredible program. But carbon-based programs have traditionally been slower, and have been unable to take full advantage of all features of Mac OS X and all features of Mac OS 9... Albeit, Apple has added a lot to Carbon to help fix this... A Cocoa version would undoubtedly be worth an upgrade cost...

OK so far

Does this mean that you have gotten Exchange Calendaring and Global Address Book synchronization working with an Exchange 2000 server, or are you reviewing the other stated and unstated fixes?

Wow, much improved

You have 1256mb ram? Or 256mb RAM? If 256 RAM, consider an upgrade, it will vastly improve your overall experience... especially on Mac OS X.
