Twin 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Love the support for FTP/webDAV! There's not that many apps that implement these well. I have webspace online at my host that I'd love to utilize for backing up my docs and other small items, and this app is the first to manage this properly! I've used them all (smartbackup, .mac backup, etc) and none implements remote backing up quite right. Thanks for the great software! [alert admin]

iCalViewer 2.1.6 (Mac OS X)
I'm surprised there is not more hype for this program! I absolutely love it! It overlays my desktop with my calendar, and I never miss anything because of it! Very simple and unintrusive! [alert admin]

AppZapper 1.8.0 (Mac OS X)
Hazel is the best, non-intrusive app remover program I've used so far. And it can do a lot of nifty things to your data. [alert admin]

GlimmerBlocker 1.3.1 (Mac OS X)
Absolutely the best ad-blocker I've used, and I've used them all! Adblock/PithHelmet are hacks into Safari, and potentially breaks with every Safari upgrade. I've tried using a stylesheet, those are ugly and annoying to update. Then comes GlimmerBlocker, installed as a System Preference! The default subscriptions work beautifully, and you can make your own custom filters! The best part for me is that I've been able to produce my own filters, then host them on my webDAV server for others (friends/family) to subscribe to in their GlimmerBlocker! This makes sharing filters easy as pie!!!! The author unfortunately is not currently taking donations, and the app is free! Very responsive, and has fixed every single issue I've had with it (compatibility issues with iSpQ and a few minor glitches); for my purposes, this app is now bug free! :) [alert admin]

yFlicks 3.0.1 (Mac OS X)
yFlicks: definitely the iPhoto for Video! ![]()

FINALLY, verison 3.0 definitely has improved over past versions. Now the startup is very fast, and everything can be configured to your liking! I'm currently in demo mode but will definitely be buying! The interface is intuitive, and it makes organizing my videos much easier than having it all sporadically laid out in folders with no ability to quickly preview them in big thumbnails.... iTunes Library Check 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Can it scan if iTunes library file is on another HD?
I have my iTunes library/xml and music files on a separate volume from the main drive ... I haven't been able to get the program to work, is this the culprit maybe? [alert admin]

iTunes Library Check 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Thanks for making this!! This is EXACTLY what I've been hoping someone would create! But one slight problem ... when I press "start" nothing happens? [the two other tabs are blank] ? [alert admin]

Syphone 0.99b10 (Mac OS X)
Support was helping on the micromat syphone forums. This application works beautifully, and can also work via a background daemon that will archive it every time your phone is synced!!!! :) [alert admin]

Great idea, but it's a memory hog
not only is it a memory hog, it's a cpu (cycles) hog too! But the idea is great. Could also use a better interface!

that must be why ... I don't have any issues :) There was no notification, that makes the most sense :) Will the program find files in this scenario: Let's say you have random music files in your iTunes folder structure, but these files were never imported into iTunes, ... will this program find those files?

for newbies, it's not quite intuitive to go into the stylesheet to change it back to none. I'd rather have a filter list that lets some of the ads in, and prevents any false positives.

??? no response from developer
the developer has also not emailed or posted back on the blog comments, about various questions about newsfire: including the inability to import other RSS feeds from other programs (NNW).

Dishonest responses (or lack of)
they keep saying on their msg boards that they'd "fix" issues in the next release, but they never do ...... there's many problems they said over a year ago on their baords that they said they would fix but still outstanding.
