Apple Safari 3.0b (Mac OS X)

Safari 3.0b just crashes at startup

Couldn't wait to get hands on this beta! Long-lasting install, reboot, click on Safari icon (sad, the icon didn't change), brushed-metal Safari window popped up for a moment (wasn't I told there will be no more brushed metal?) – and CRASH. All possible clean-ups tested. No way. Sad. [alert admin]

VODcaster 1.1 (Mac OS X)

UTF-8 characters are not read

When importing RSS file from disk it doesn't handle UTF-8 characters, instead they are imported as plaintext. Although when typing UTF-8 text it is saved correctly. If you try to import generated file again - you get garbage. [alert admin]

Safari 3.0b just crashes at startup

Managed to launch it. The reason for crashes was SpeedDownload. I had to remove "~/Library/InputManagers/SpeedDownload Enhancer" Safari should be much more bulletproof though.

Is it too expensive?...

Click "Developer's Site' link or just navigate to http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=3195 There's a step-by step instruction. Although it could be an automated installation.

Not...

Isn't it $149? And they call it "affordable"?
