pwrWndws 1.2 (Mac OS X)

Fiwi 1.2 Upgraded

I just posted a new version 1.2 As soon as versiontracker is up and running I will update the info, If you download now you will get the new version. New in this version: Fiwi now allows user to select their preference of Columns (side by side) or Rows (one on top of the other) as default . At startup the user chooses which format suits best by clicking on the appropriate button. That choice will be the default until the user changes it. [alert admin]

solitario 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Lovely game, lots of fun!

Thanks for making solitario free. I used to play it a long time ago. Now that it is on my Mac I can clear my mind with a couple of games when stress is mounting up. [alert admin]

Simple but effective

You can still download the version that works with the shift key for rows at: http://wordpower.orconhosting.net.nz/WordPower/pwrWndws.html for the time being. Enjoy it

Simple but effective

Hi chrisyboyg, Thank you for your kind comments. I am really pleased you find pwrWndws saves you time. Your observations make a lot of sense. I have already started working on the idea to allow for the dock. I like the idea of customizing the size of windows. I am thinking on how that could be implemented without extra dialog boxes or delay for the user. I have just posted an update with a new name Fiwi and I changed the icon…

Fixed it

You are right. The keyboard issue is real. If you do not have assisted devices on there is no way pwrWndws can detect if you pressed the shift key at startup and it fails. If you download the latest version you'll see that it has been fixed. The shift key if pressed when you launch pwrWndws will set the 2 windows in row format, one on top of the other, instead of side by side Hope this helps.

Excellent for brainiacs

Thanks for your excellent review. I am currently updating to vers a.0.0.3 which, among other things, will offer a way of locking the given/revealed tiles so you cannot change them by mistake, if you'd rather play that way. Thank you for helping mario'sudoku get better. I am confident that with positive help we will have the best sudoku around pretty soon.
