Saft 8.0.2 (Mac OS X)
I concur with the guy below--Saft is broken (causes Safari to hang on launch) as of build no. 412.2. Please fix this! Please! [alert admin]

fortune 1.1 (Mac OS X)
The read me says to use the shell built-in command "rehash" after doing the "make install". On my system (using bash as my shell), typing rehash just results in "-bash: rehash: comand not found". What is this command for, and why can't I execute it? [alert admin]

Widget, The World Watcher 1.0 (Mac OS X)
...this is great! You'd think that a guy who says that he's a developer would've read the "zaptastic" proof-of-concept article linked in any one of 100 different blogs. You've done a simple yet great thing here, don't let the arrogant elitists disparage you. The folder action (not a widget as Brad the "developer" asserted) works as advertised and establishes an elegantly simple way of defeating undesired auto-installs of widgets without getting in the way. And contrary to what Brad the "developer" says, no it doesn't need to be a prefpane. Ever heard of K.I.S.S., Brad? THANKS!!! [alert admin]

The absolute BEST iTunes viz plugin! ![]()

Hands down, no contest, this is the absolute best visualization plugin for iTunes, no contest. It's especially cool when you've got your Mac's video out connected to your TV, and the audio out to your stereo, so that you have a complete A/V jukebox for parties or whatever. I've gotten TONS of great comments from people about this. Plus, the developer is very responsive and friendly. And he does this for FREE! That's just too much! [alert admin]

StuffIt Expander 9.0.1 (Mac OS X)
Just d/l'ed this latest version. Whereas 8.0.2 worked like a champ, 9.0.1 now crashes every time I try to expand a MacBinary file. I've uninstalled/reinstalled/find and delete all Allume/Stuffit/Aladdin files on my HD, then reinstalled. I've even tried using it as a different user. Nothing has fixed this. I would say it's buggy, but that would be an understatement. I'm now without an app for expanding many compressed file formats. Absolutely horrible. [alert admin]

Fetch Art for iTunes 1.1.1 (Mac OS X)
Same issues in iTunes 4.7, but what's worse...
...is the fact that the developer apparently doesn't support it any more. Can't get to his website, and there's no e-mail to reach him at. I mean, I can't hold this against him, as he offered this fantastic app for free, but I'm pretty bummed. No other artwork fetching app came even close. This stinks. Hopefully, he's just gone incognito to work on a 4.7 compatible version! [alert admin]

Version 0.9.4pre3 works! I really like this one. I realize that it can be tough sometimes for a developer to keep up with rapidly changing API's, so I apologize for all the negativity in my last feedback. [alert admin]

I cannot get the program to work. I have entered my ebay username and password, checked the "Sync with Myebay" checkbox, and still, nothing shows up in the main window, although the status bar says that it has successfully synced with Myebay. The "about" box gives a tip about dragging and dropping auction links into the main window--that doesn't work either. Nothing happens. So, finally, I thought I'd go the manual route and manually add item numbers into the "Add Auction" block--the program claims that "No matching items can be found," even though I'm looking right at the auction. While the program is workable (that is, it runs), it is not functional. I couldn't get anything at all to work. It's got potential, if only it worked. [alert admin]
