Apple X11 1.1.2 (Mac OS X)
Four years on, Apple's iteration of X11 STILL doesn't support pressure sensitivity for drawing tablets like the wacom series, meaning that terrific FREE drawing/painting apps like "the gimp" and "inkscape" are about as usefull as an etch-a-sketch on the mac! [alert admin]

very clever cataloging tool, that creates a duplicate of your disk as a folder, almost like it aliases everything except the result is smaller and retains the file info of the original items i love it because it's so simple but solves a problem so elegantly. DON"T OVERLOOK IT BECAUSE IT'S FREE, this could probably be a solid DVD/CD cataloging solution for most users [alert admin]

aliases can be surprisingly huuuge, Autocat uses them and can end up creating catalogs of between 5-60 meg for just one disk!
