SexyMac 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Yes, there are alternatives.

The author says: "...There is no equivalent on Mac platform to secure private pictures" The truth is: Yes, there is. CloakIt and Folder Guard X are alternative products that will protect folders and files as well as pictures. [alert admin]

BluePhoneMenu 1.1.2 (Mac OS X)

Re: Rohit

Use a USB SD/MMC Card reader and transfer from your mac to the 3650's 16MB MMC card. It's located under the battery. it'll see the card just like any other media drive. [alert admin]

Messenger Ad Blocker 2.0 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)

$15?!? WHAT?!?

They actually want people to pay fifteen bucks for this??? here's what you can do yourself - with no downlaoaded software - FOR FREE: In Windows XP Home/XP Professional/2000: 1) Open: Start> Control Panel. 2) Open "Administative Tools" folder 3) Open "Services" 4) Scroll down to "Messenger" and double-click it. 5) Under "Startup Type" select "Disabled" 6) Click the "Stop" button 7) Click "OK" and close all windows. You're done. and you've saved $15. Go buy yourself and another person dinner with the money you saved. [alert admin]

Twister 2.2.8 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)

Spyware City

Wow, ran Ad-Aware before install to flush out my pc. Right after install, I now have 122 new objects identified by Ad-Aware. Impressive amount of crap. After removal of spyware, it seems to think it's still a sponsored copy. It's speeds are mediocre and search results are limited. It seems like a very old version of the original Napster. This software has potential, but is not worth $14.95 for an ad-free version. [alert admin]
