Pluto menubar 5.1.1 (Mac OS X)
So giving one star as a rating for an app because the developer may be an asshole is not trolling/flaming? Come on - thats a shame, even when you don't like my attitude! I don't have any problems with a comment that helps to improve an app - all I have is a big problem with people acting like you and people thinking trolling/flaming/bashing in a very destructive way has got something to do with a review or comment… If this means, that others think I am stupid or an asshole OK - but all I want is to open VersionTracker and other sites an know, that a rating and a review tells me something about the app and not all about the attitude and the manners of the reviewer/troll… If this wish makes others think I am an asshole - once again, thats OK - if this means I am selling less - OK - but I really think it's a shame… [alert admin]

VersionTracker the new collecting point for trolls?
Are here only trolls present with the ability to bash all and everything? OK - it is my app and I have to be kind to sell - blablabla - but thats not the point… Is it too much expected to get a helpful and kind review and a fair rating like you receive on MacUpdate and Co.? If you take a look at the ratings from all last 'so called users' here - they all have only one star in their repertoire - nothing else! OK - maybe my app sucks - but there are so many good apps out their and not only trash such trolls want us to believe… Would't it be good to know that a review and the rating really tells something about the app instead of being the indicator for how many trolls you will find here? Pluto menubar 5.0 (Mac OS X)
Feedback is something different!
And giving one star because you dont like the point of view is just poor and tells everything about you! And yes I'd rather say what I think (in a non-shit talking way) than earning some bucks more and if you really think it is ok to bash instead of giving constructional feedback - than I am really in the wrong business when I think that decency should rule - even when the app sucks - and people, that only are able to bash others work (and dont have anything else in their repertoire dont have decency) - selling apps is one thing - to dont care about selling less because of telling the truth is another one and I'd rather sell no single app than getting a brown nose! So - if someone really has something to tell about the app that could be improved. Here I am! All the others will hopefully find another place to troll around… [alert admin]

Pluto menubar 4.2 (Mac OS X)
Could someone please tell this guy something about decency?
Do I hate people that have nothing else to do than bashing others work! It is one thing to review and rate an application and to find things that can be improved - but this xxx has nothing else in his repertoire than bashing applications - nothing else! Please come back when you have a life to live or written your own app - so we can have a look - until than - please go and find someone thats willing to hug you - you really need some love in your life! Dear shear--2008! Of course this app is free (like about 20 other that can be found on my website) and the Pro Version is available for ten bucks… so thanks for the two stars and the totally wrong comment (review) :-( [alert admin]

Recherche 3.2 (Mac OS X)
Thanks for the caring review… · of course Tab from Address Field to Google works - btw. why not directly use the standard-shortcut for the search or adding bookmarks et cetera? (thats what I call a workflow…) I know, there a few out there that rather have a time-limited demo and than want to be tortured with Serial Numbers, Hardware-bounded Activations (those with Names with Umlaut and on the Master Card for example now what I am talking about…) and all the other crappy ideas - but there are a lot more out there that do understand why I decided to limit the amount of Projects (5 Projects with unlimited notes, bookmarks, outlines, images etc.) for an unlimited time - I think thats a god compromise to really test if Recherche is something for you and after you've purchased it (maybe) you really own it and you won"t be punished with Serials etc… So I hope you give it a try and use these reviews to give me feedback on the app itself that can help me making it better :-)) [alert admin]

No, the developer just has a big problem with people not knowing the difference between bashing and a fair review (and if the app sucks, everyone has the right to prove why) - and this is not limited to his own apps! All he wants is to visit VersionTracker, MacUpdate and Co and to know that the reviews and rating have got something to do with the apps itself and are not an indicator for…

unfortunately, it can't handle word docs.
Do you really think that MS would allow that a lousy app for some bucks could handle needles proprietary file formats???
