I installed it and after over 30 minutes it was still not finished. Waited some more and then force-quit. From that moment my Intel iMac would not start. Permission repair revealed hundreds of errors. However after repair still no system start. Only solution was to do a full install from scratch. [alert admin]

myStock 2.0 (Mac OS X)
I tried this, looks nice but several problems. Tried to contact developer but there is no emailaddress on his site and the forum cannot be used because registration does not work! So nice but apparently very dead product. [alert admin]

EyeTV 2.3.1 (Mac OS X)
I use EyeTV now for several years and the 2.x version works really great with a perfect EPG. There are some quirks but almost no product is perfect. Also I received good support! (even during the time that I used an illegal version) The good support for one of the reason to buy it. [alert admin]

Thoth 1.8.0 (Mac OS X)
The product has been withdrawn from the market by the developer. So posting updates is useless. [alert admin]

RWThemes Super Pack 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Again "Goold Old Dave" is trying to make a quick buck. Not only he sold his old site AFTER trying people to quickly give money for updates but also started a the same company thereby competing with the buyer of his old stuff. Does not seem very ethical to me! [alert admin]

RW is a very good product for developing websites fast and with minimal knowledge of HTML/CSS. However the company selling these themes has no interest whatsoever in its customers. They are promised to get an update (themes do not work at all anymore) but then this is changed to "when all themes have been converted _then_ we will sent updates to our old customers". So this might take months, years or never! [alert admin]

Sounds to me that you are looking for guinea pigs for your own purposes. You are scared to use the tool but have no problem in encouriging others to take the plunge. Coward!

"There is a lesson for all of us in this... if the software is useful, and Thoth certainly falls into that camp, then pay the shareware author." Utter nonsens! BC refuses to sell a license so he himself is responsible for piracy! Besides that, every product is pirated and no other developer sees that as a reason to just quit!

I did ask them a few months ago and received a message saying they were considering this option for next release. So maybe it is in.

Don't you find it a bit ridiculous to rate software depending on some silly war the Americans are eager to fight? The world is really larger than the US!
