MacKakuro 1.0 (Mac OS X)

not there yet

BestKakuro (at the same price) has a better selection of sizes and the facility to print puzzles to hard copy, with a varying number of puzzles to each page. MacKakuro is better looking, but still has quite a way to go to catch up with the well established BestKakuro. [alert admin]

No Spin 2.1 (Mac OS X)

2.1 doesn't work for me

Have used 0.1 without problem, Now trying 2.1 it will nor even accept the external drive which has 2 partitions called EX/HD A and EX/HD B. When I enter these in the application, separated by a return as requested, it tells me /bin/sh: line 1: /Volumes/EX/HD A/.list: No such file or directory (1). I do not know if this is a hang-over from version 0.1 or something wrong with v 2.1, and there is no help or advice or contact to help resolve it. [alert admin]

iCDc 5.0b5 (Mac OS X)

lost

This package has lots of potential, BUT . . . It allows CDs to be sorted by genre - and then can only find 7 out of 225 of them! More accuracy and reliability required, methinks! [alert admin]

Multimap for Address Book 2.1 (Mac OS X)

Multimap v WhereIs

For Australia, the WhereIs scripts have worked beautifully for me, but the MultiMap script just keeps downloading a file called browse.cgi; and GoogleMaps do not seem to work for Australia yet, though great for UK. [alert admin]

BIAS Peak 3.11 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

But when will…

they fix the Preferences for colours for the Audio Document window? There used to be a "custom' setting with v.2.5.8, and part of the code seems to have been lost with v. 3.x as it no longer can retain user settings! (It's been reported twice in the last six months!) Frustrated. [alert admin]

lost

Problem solved - v 5.0 works perfectly. Wish list - if it could record track times too would be great; as it can sey genres for each CD could it be made to enter these personal genres into iTunes? the list of genres which is built into iTunes does not match much of the stuff we use.
