Ext2 Filesystem 1.4d4 (Mac OS X)

Why would you bother?

Witha a warning like this in the read me file why would you bother installing this software unless you wanted your system to crash or become unstable? I'll wait or find an alternative! EXT2 Filesystem for Mac OS X, 1.4d4, 2006/12/3 "This release could cause kernel panics and/or deadlocks that hang the machine. In addition, write support has not been stressed tested, therefore filesystem corruption may be possible. Please keep this in mind before using it." [alert admin]

Snapz Pro X 2.0.3 (Mac OS X)

Snapz Pro will not select an off screen frame. I have to use Snagit!

I bought this product because of the reviews and some of Ambrosia's hype only to discover that this wonder product wont even scroll through a page or frame enabling the whole content to be selected. Ambrosia Tech support advised that the developers werent interested in adding this functionaility so I wasted my money on this product when I could have just used the standard Apple keyboard short cuts. Not a happy punter at all! [alert admin]

Snapz Pro X 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Snapz Pro X A Quantum Leap? Not!

I bought this piece of bloatware based on a recommendation by a supposed "Mac Guru" ..... hear this Ted? Normally the Mac commands do me just fine except for not capturing all of the unseen window. So looking for an alternative I came across Ted Landau's recommendation and I think maybe he knows a thing or two and so I'll take it on board and buy the bloody thing only to find the program cant even copy the contents of a window that is off the screen. Tech Support were vaguely sympathetic but in the end the feedback from them was that the developers werent interested- which is evident from the blurb for this version. They certainly didnt ask for feedback from their registered user base for this release. So in the end it turns out that I basically just gave my money away to complete strangers in the States. This is what makes piracy so attractive because you dont have to pay at all if the features you need arent available! What a waste of hard drive space this purchase was. [alert admin]
