BIAS Peak LE 6.0.5 (Mac OS X)

t's an overpriced dinosaur

I think mused151 must be an employee of BIAS, because that review is too over the top for any normal human being/end user. I agree with the other recent comments, and if I may add my own, it's an overpriced dinosaur. [alert admin]

Logitech Control Center 2.6.0 (Mac OS X)

Malware

Just tried installing on a G5 dualcore 1.26ghZ PPC running 10.4.11. The install froze near completion. I had to reboot. System is totally messed up now. Thanks. [alert admin]

Digidesign Pro Tools 7.4 (Mac OS X)

Forget 7.4

Elastic time my butt, and Australia isn't even in the list anymore. I can't believe they are already asking for another 75 bucks U.S. after the pathetic 7.3 upgrade from 7.1. Apple's own Soundtrack Pro 2.0 and Logic Pro 8.0 already offer a lot more bang for the buck. Why give these corporate pigs another 75 bucks U.S. for a minor upgrade that will probably take at least another 6-8 months to be compatible with Leopard? This is a great example of what happens when good software companies get taken over by huge multinational corporations. Shame on you Digidesign! [alert admin]

I'm sorry to say

I agree with all the above, plus here in Australia customer support for the product and updates is dreadful. It's operated by some jerk in a local music store with an attitude.

"Released an An hour ago" reply

An hour ago? PST is currently 19 hours behind my time here in Australia. Anyone familiar wuth Quicken (I've used it since 1996) can put it through it's paces in well under 15 minutes. Perhaps you're an Intuit employee, and feel offended by my quick response to this lame update. A few hours later, (my time) there were over 100 new criticisms on this revision, -- what do you see that's positive for Quicken about…
