Defaulter 1.1.5 (Mac OS X)
Defaulter is great. Not just for end users who want to manage their preferences, but also for developers testing their NSUserDefaults implementation. [alert admin]

PlayerPRO 5.9.8 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
I've decided to reopen PlayerPROLounge again. You can see PlayerPROLounge as it was when it was closed at http://amonre.org/pplounge/. Everything is still available, except for a few downloads. Music contributed by other PlayerPRO users is still available as well. It is no longer being updated. Feel free to contact me if you want to take care of it. [alert admin]

iAlert 1.4 (Mac OS X)
I think this would be much nicer if iAlert were to use Growl (www.growl.info) for notifications. Having a separate notification system is not a good idea; a unified notification system such as Growl would probably make me use iAlert more. [alert admin]

Angband 3.0.4 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
The savegames is what Angband makes unique. You die, you start over. So make sure you don't die. :) [alert admin]

Desktop Manager 0.4.2 (Mac OS X)
Great app. Doesn't crash, it just works, and does what I want it to do. [alert admin]

Fortune-Saver 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Nice, simple screensaver. It doesn't have much features, it lacks documentation, and it's not really easy to install. I still like it.
Installing Fortune-Saver
Apparently, there aren't many people who know how to install this. I'll write a quick install howto :).
You will need Fink (fink.sf.net) if you want to use this screen saver. If you have Fink already installed, you can go to the terminal and type the following:
sudo apt-get install fortune-modThis will download and install the
fortune program, which is needed by Fortune-Saver. When apt-get finishes, you can drop Fortune-Saver.saver into a Library/Screen Savers directory:
- ~/Library/Screen Savers: if you want to install it for yourself only, not for other users
- /Library/Screen Savers: if you want to install it for all users (you will need administrator privileges)
Oh, by the way, I didn't write it. I just like writing documentation... ahem. :) [alert admin]

Mac Messenger 3.0a13 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Mac Messenger 2.1 and older are NOT available anymore. Microsoft broke a LOT of old clients, and 2.1 was one of them. You have to use Mac Messenger 3. [alert admin]

Mac Messenger 2.0a9 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
ten times as fast as MSN Messenger, and ten times as stable. It has been proven once again that RealBasic is not a bad language. Also, keep in mind that this is only an alpha, and that many features aren't implemented yet. Oh, by the way, I did the new website design. :) [alert admin]

You should try to read the requirements before complaining. It says: "though fortune must be installed (and must reside in /sw/bin/)".
So, you have to have Fink installed. If you don't, it's useless. If you do, however, you type the following into the terminalsudo apt-get install fortune-mod
and press return. apt-get will download fortune and install it. You can now enjoy your new screensaver.
