I have been using DVDRemaster Pro for almost three years and have been very happy with it. It does exactly what I need it to do: it compresses large DVDs into files that are small enough to burn onto a single-layer DVD (the only capability I have with my burner). It's also handy that it can burn smaller VIDEO-TS folders (that don't need compression). The quality is good, and DVDRemaster allows me to keep the "extras" on the disk as well (special features, etc.) I have found that I can answer most of my technical questions by calming down and reading the "Help" support pages carefully. However, there have been 3 or 4 times that I needed additional assistance, and I found that the developers were usually quick to respond to email questions AND were very patient and courteous as well. This program has been able to meet my needs for a long time, and I regard it as an excellent purchase and an indispensable tool. I recommend it highly. Thanks! [alert admin]
