TimeNet Law 1.5.5 (Mac OS X)
Hey guys, just wanted to make sure everyone knew that AppleSource was not a scam. Not sure what prompted the other disappointed comments, but TimeNet Law is still very much in rapid development. Yes there were some bugs, as is usually the case for any software still in its infancy. The recent updates to TimeNet Law have really been monumental in cleaning up the interface and fixing all of the bugs. There are NO known bugs in TimeNet Law at this time. That's not to say that there aren't any bugs, but we're doing everything we can to fix them quickly as they arise. Please direct any questions you have about the software or the quality of our support to me directly, Perry Fjellman. Please also contact me if you find any bugs so we can get rid of them ASAP. Thanks so much to Dr. Guy Chism, Esq., Randy B. Singer, Miles Kaliburn and all of the other attorneys who've provided us with great feedback. perry [at] applesource [dot] us (503) 746.4176 AppleSource 4651 SW Greensboro Way STE. 169 Beaverton, OR 97007 [alert admin]

TimeNet 3.9.9 (Mac OS X)
Sorry guys! The website went down early this morning due to bandwidth limits being reached. We had a huge burst of downloads and interest in the last 5 days, which is great! I'm working with my host to get the problem resolved ASAP, hopefully by this evening at the latest. Sorry for the trouble! You can reach me anytime at my personal email address for support inquiries: perry@applesource.us [alert admin]

TimeNet 2.8.7 (Mac OS X)
After sending a detailed heartfelt message to the Macintosh community, VersionTracker deleted my post because I "violated usage policy". Makes no sense to me, but let me clarify quickly: TimeNet is not abandon-ware, 3.0 is coming very soon, check your junk mail filters and add sales@applesource.biz and support@applesource.biz to your address book and allow messages through. We're getting a lot of reports of blocked messages. Thanks for all the support of (most of) the Macintosh community. Your support has made my work worth all of the troubles! [alert admin]

I don't understand what you're saying crashes, bobbyc. We haven't received any emails from you. Please mail us at support@applesource.biz - we respond to all emails within hours, usually much sooner. Thanks for your feedback! We look forward to addressing this problem. [alert admin]

TimeNet Law 1.0 (Mac OS X)
We have talked to dozens of lawyers about the development of this product, and are closely working with 7 to bring TimeNet Law into your legal office. While all of your points are valid, we would like to point out that TimeNet Law is at 1.0, and many of these missing features will be added into TimeNet 1.1 or even 1.0.x. There was an overwhelming demand to get the product released and so we did on the belief that good-natured lawyers would accept and respect the growth process of this application. I fully appreciate and understand every point made in your post, riff.raff, and hope that you will remain altruistic and supportive, rather than negative, in the development if TimeNet Law. Check out the coming updates in the next 1-3 weeks, as we think you'll be surprised, and delighted. [alert admin]

I have no idea who KLomer is, but I can assure you they are not working for me or associated with me in any way. If you'll notice, I actually DO respond to negative posts "from the developer" and try to set things straight and help out the users of our software. I think that claiming presumptions as facts is not only unfair and childish, but it seems that if you had a problem with…

AppleSource has never been a scam. We have thousands of happy customers. Serial numbers do not take a week to arrive, crashing bugs are not a known issue, and we take our support very seriously. I apologize for your issue with our software.

I'm sorry for the issue you had with our tech support. We really do pride ourselves on fast and friendly support. Last week I had to leave town on a family emergency. No excuse, I know, but that is the reason the email went unanswered for a few days. I have replied to your emails and your forum posts. You're actually the first person to request this feature, believe it or not. It is on the…

TimeNet is too buggy to rely on for mission critical use
Not sure what customer service was "unresponsive" and "unhelpful", but we do try to reply to everyone and solve issues in a timely manor. What is explained here is data corruption, and while rare, we've had about 3 or 4 cases of this (out of hundreds if not thousands of happy users). Each time, we did the "deciphering" of "xml" (it's not xml) and returned the data in tact. I am sorry for the trouble…

no reply to emails or phone calls
We have emailed this person several times about this issue. The accidental copy was refunded for the full amount, PayPal handles the conversion of currencies, not us. The registration code was sent out the same day of purchase, and we are trying to initiate communication to work out the standing problems. If you read this, please reply to our emails. We'll be glad to help. Thanks!

Have you ever used TimeNet before? Are you a registered user? What exactly is happening? Is it opening at all, and quitting? Giving an error? Or just not opening at all? And what version of OS X? Thanks for getting back to me on these questions, I'm looking forward to learning more!

This update should fix the bug. I wasn't sure by what you meant with "couldn't make it work". I'm assuming you meant the progress bar didn't advance? Check it now. Thanks!

What version of MacOS are you running? Also what exactly "isn't working"? Does it open? Does it give you an error? I'll try and help out the best I can. Thanks!

Re: Check Out the better Programs that deliver software, not products
I wasn't aware that I was whining. If this is the case, I apologize. I appreciate your comments and fully understand your issues and concerns. Please don't refer to this software as vaporware, it's anything but. We receive dozens of emails every day and it is difficult to add every feature immediately. We take everyone's feedback seriously. Thanks for at least taking the time to check out the software and check back in to leave a comment.
