MacPilot 3.1.3 (Mac OS X)

3 vs 2: a de-grade

I have 2 registerd 2.xxx version (registestered on '06 and '07 with VTP). I was running 3.1.3 in trial mode (now I am DESTROYING it). I saw a very big interface, but, from my pont of wiev, a low-grade in comparison with 2.xxxx. I am a "stupid" user of MAC OS X: I would like to have a "reset to default" as in 2.xxx (or I have only to use command lines in Unix?) [alert admin]

beware of Rixstep

I am running the whole suite from more than 1 year. I was not able to update: so I was buying a new one. BUT ...... Rixstep closed me my IP: site polling. I explained to Rixstep that I am utilizing Speed Dowload and Intego. It did not send me any answer. (I am wayting back for my 70 $). It is a pity. [alert admin]

Unreliable

I run only up to 4.5.3 then I dismissed TT. I had the same problem, i.e. "mismatched bitmap": I was thinking that it was a problem of TT, because I did not find any evidence of this error. And I had not to format HD. Now I have created a partition on my HD (less space than eDisk), where I have "duplicated" the OS: I use to repare the principal one (with some very simple utilities). I…

At the TechTool website it says...

I was at TT website: I understodd that I have to pay $ 25. I am in the mailing list of Micromat (I paid 4.5.1' DVD about 120 €): why Micromat does not mail anything about this update? 4.5.2 was freeware. It seems that 4.5.3 is freeware, too. Sometimes I think that Micromat has a "suicide" policy

TTP 4.5.3 Installation and Update Info

I verified the permissions on HD before launcing eDrive. Before running any suite from eDrive, I "re" verified permissions. I found a very strange error in "ColorSync". iMac G5 PPC

How do you make an e=Drive?

I made the eDrive starting from TT 4.5.1's DVD (Sep-06). I updated to 4.5.2, now to 4.5.3. 4.5.3 has has a (very good) window at the first run asks you if you want to update TT on HD or on eDrive. I updated HD during the first run of updater, then 4.5.3 updated the eDrive, without asking anything.

freeware with problems

sorry There is only a (big) problem. I have to restart, because I can access to eDrive from "avvio sicuro" ("secure access"?: I'm Italian). anyway, HD and eDrive tell me that they are running 4.5.3

it seems that is not shearware

1) I opened .dmg file 2) TT was updated on HD (re-start)) 3) then, I up-dated the eDrive (re-start) 4) I run TT on my HD (it means: TT run from eDrive) I was surprised that TT did not ask me anything.

Multiple lines for single files

I had "problem" like yours with an appl: VT doubled it. The old version of that appl was deeply deinstalled from my mac. I tryed a possible solution: I deeply deistalled VT (4.2.2) and then I reinstalled the same version: it seems a solution (but I'd like to know why VT makes errors like this)
