Safari 4 Modifier 0.2.2.0 (Mac OS X)
There is already a Safari-4-Buddy that does this?
I'm curious how this is different from the EXCELLENT" "Safari-4-Buddy" that's already available? [alert admin]

Apple Safari 3.1.2 (Mac OS X)
When 10.5.5 was released, Safari seemed to work a bit better than in 10.5.4... now over the course of just a short time, Safari is getting significantly crappier. I get beachballs every time I start up... slow performance and more beachballs... Stalling... and crashing... I run Leopard Cache Cleaner... Disk Warrier and Tech Tool Pro once a week or so... and it helps a little for a day or two... iDelete QT and Flash Caches 1.4 seems to help a little, but Safari has become a joke. [alert admin]

Microsoft Office 2008 12.1.2 (Mac OS X)
Worst version ever... and that's a lot considering how crappy MS usually is. The "new" features are mostly irrelevant since: It's incredibly slow STARTING UP... very slow OPENING a new page... and RIDICULOUSLY slow SAVING a document. My old Word (2004) worked perfectly well and fast... and like an idiot I let the new version overwrite the old version... now I have to uninstall this and reinstall 2004. A waste of time and money. WindowShade X 4.2b1 (Mac OS X)
It seems that Unsanity has completely abandoned all of it's loyal users. As for InteractiveMath's comments (he/she is PROFINITE at macupdate)... I'm not sure what he/she means... Unsanity posted that comment on Feb 24, 2008, 6 months ago... and they haven't posted anything since... except a new Ape that seems to mess up Windowshade. As this poster says, these are all BETAS... I think it's unconscionable business practices to leave their users with only betas rather than fully functioning apps. 7 months is too long a wait. When I pay for something, I expect support. That doesn't exist at Unsanity! I have problems with a few clients: Windowshade or APE seems to affect Preview... every time Preview crashes it asks to report to Apple and Unsanity... I assume this means Unsanity is the problem. [alert admin]

Flip4Mac WMV 2.2.1.7 (Mac OS X)
Just an observation. I tried to update from the Systems Preferences app, and it says I am up to date... The Flip4Mac app - when I use Command I - says it's version 2.2.0.49... I D/Led this new version and it installed 2.2.1.7 Beta in the same App Flip4Mac folder. I guess it doesn't recognize the update from the System Preferences because it's a Beta. [alert admin]

I get constant BeachBalls, complete stalls, and crashes all day long... I'm using APE/Windowshade... maybe that's the trouble... but no other version of Safari has worked this bad on my machine. 10.5 in general has been slower and more rife with problems than 10.4. Any ideas you guys? Dual 2 GHz PPC G5 [alert admin]

I understand Apple is only barely involved with Safari and as per usual, unresponsive... You might wanna try the webkit people who build the Safari engine (I am probably using these terms wrong). They seem like nice folks. http://webkit.org/

Don't be stupid..? You might try making a constructive statement instead of a lame nonsensical retort. Say hi to John.

omnivector spouts: "I like how you post the exact same inflammitory comments on both versiontracker and macupdate. Do you really just have nothing better to do?" Wednesday, December 06 2006 @ 04:28 PM PST Seems very odd to me that you read the comments on both sites, but you think it's odd to post to both sites... Um... So, you'd have me write two (2) distinctly different reviews about the same app? Seems to me you're kinda obtuse,…
