to have problems with large content files or copy protection. I tried Deep Impact (US version). Got the same problem of error 36 as Q3Q. If you want to extract from DVD you are probably better off with DVD extractor. It did the job but is too slow. Does anyone knows a better alternative? [alert admin]

Symantec Norton Utilities 7.0b2 (Mac OS X)
than disappointed to see that speed disk was not included - it was the only reason for me to buy norton utilities 7.0. Moreover, my inquiry at Symantec was not answered. Instead a machine generated failure message was sent, saying that Symantecs support was not able to answer my questions due to overload of their system. [alert admin]

Apple Final Cut Pro 3.0.1 (Mac OS X)
is 3.0.2? I have just upgraded to DVD Studio Pro 1.5 and it requires Final Cut Pro 3.0.2 for full integration! Just experienced another problem with Final Cut Pro 3.0.1: Capturing data from a DV device after 45 minutes stops with error "out of disk space". According to FCP I do have 800 minutes of free space on my HDs (72 Gigs on the first 81 on the second etc.). There is no explanation nor any work around so far. Apple tought me that - sorry - I have already upgraded end of January and my free support has already expired!!! [alert admin]

Apple Final Cut Pro 3.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
stable on MacOS X on my G4 AGP. Still waiting for DVD Studio Pro X. RT features are super! Fast workflow including color correction and most essential fades. [alert admin]

5.1.1 to work. Aftter installing on X 10.1.2 starting toast will just result on two or three jumps of the toast icon within the doc. Thats it and nothing more happens. Toast 5.0.1 worked well on MacOS 9.2 and there was no failure message during installation of toast 5.1.1. G4/Apple superdrive MacOS 10.1.2 [alert admin]

CanoScan Toolbox CS 1.3 (Mac OS 9)
installed from the CD-R that came with the CanoScan N 650U on a G4/733 (PC 133) and another one attached to a G4/400 (PC 100). No problems to get to work - just plug and play. Photoshop 5.5 plug-in also works fine. However, the CanoScan Toolbox (1.3.1) offers some ease of use for OCR and simpel scans. What about MacOS X support? I personally don't expect any peripheral get to work w/o expensive hardware upgrade :-( [alert admin]

Epson Stylus Photo 750 6.3AE (Mac OS 9)
there is no hint what this update really does or what it is good for. Perhaps someone can tell me. However, I suggest anyone rating an update should not rate the updated hardware product (such as the printer) but rather the updated software. I don't like the epson printer driver. It's not Mac like at all and the update does not change this. [alert admin]

HunterDeer 1.1 (Mac OS 9)
may find it in my trash bin.....Too easy - no thrill.... have you ever tried "Moorhuhn Jagd"? That's the way games like this may be fun. [alert admin]

Apple FireWire 2.5 (Mac OS 9)
US customers are happy with the US update! Consider the following: I am waiting since three month for a Final Cut Pro 1.25 update. If this is just normal, I will soon migrate to mainstream Wintel computers where you get the updates almost at once - and don't tell me that Apple is so much better than Wintel systems - I have got a G4 and a brand new power book and both are giving me more problems than any other Macs since the last ten (!) years. I feel bored about the ignorance of Apple on almost all of my soft- and hardware problems here in Europe and probably not much better in the US. [alert admin]

Apple Disc Burner 1.0.1 (Mac OS 9)
waste your time with downloading the international version which is 1.0 and works on brand new Macs with build in CD-RW only. [alert admin]
