BrickHouse 1.3 (Mac OS X)

Perhaps this will be useful to those who still want to use this

I decided to give this application a go despite recent reviews alerting me to the fact that the developer has been unresponsive of late and that there appears to be no support at the moment. If you read one of the reviews further down this feedback, you will find instructions to correct problems with this version, and once done, it appears to work really well. It does, indeed, fail one test at GRC but this is the ping test and there appears to be much controversy as to whether it's better to respond to a ping test or not - there are virtues either way as far as I hear from others much more knowledgeable than myself. As far as I can see to date, Brickhouse does the job well. I don't seem to be able to print from my iBook to my Mac Mini but I don't have Brickhouse installed on the Mac Mini at the minute and them both working with the same Firewall software might solve that problem. It appears…

10.3.9

Just to add, I tried using Pseudo - drag and drop file, open in TextEdit and edit the file. The trouble is, now that it's edited, it won't let me save it over the top of the original and so now it's just a text file!! I've been reading up about Terminal and using the vim editor in Terminal but when I follow what I think is the command, I don't see any…

This looks tremendously useful. Unfortunately, although not your average computer user, I have not used sudo before and don't quite know the steps I would have to employ to change the script concerned. I'm up for trying it and have managed in the past to change DOS scripts when I was a PC user (now very much converted to Mac!) I can follow the instructions by the letter but could you post…
