CDFinder 5.0 (Mac OS X)

Wish I could upgrade - no one is home?

Love it and have been using it for years. They released a version earlier this year with a "temporary license key." After spending the bucks and requesting the updated key, I get bounce-backs from all of their published email addresses. Too bad...I just want to get what I paid for. [alert admin]

DropObliter8 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Nope, can't unarchive it either.

This only adds to my frustration. [alert admin]

GanttPV 0.6 (Mac OS X)

Good programming allows for good criticism

"Ya, this is great because it's free" isn't going to help the programmers refine their product. ehildum is doing them a favor as the interface is truly suffering. I found the product nearly unusable as it's completely unintuitive. "RTFM" is not good business nor is it a sign of a mature software. It's okay to defend the work if the reviewer overlooked something. It's obvious that they made an honest stab at using it. In the end this is a project management solution for people who don't want to spend any money on FastTrack or that other commercial software. This same person just doesn't care about the clothes they wear, the car they drive, the computer they use (certainly not a Mac) or the hours they keep managing their projects. A couple stars goes to their web site. Just as lackluster visually and in it's orginization, but a pretty great resource for "how to get your ducks in a row." [alert admin]

UnCoverIt 2.0.3 (Mac OS X)

Finally perfect.

I've been using Uncover it for years and have seen it go from good to worse to good to best. Apple should buy this for their iLife suite and make this guy a grip of cash. [alert admin]

iHam on iRye 2.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

Pretty cool but...

I can't seem to have more than one user at a time viewing/controlling iTunes. Also, an "auto connect" feature would be nice to connect to a favorite upon statrup. Can't beat the price, though, nor the interface. [alert admin]

BatChmod 1.32 (Mac OS X)

Perfect!

Does what Panther can't seem to do. Ideal in an environment where you might add a new user to a machine and need to copy all of the old files and folders to the new account. Thank you! [alert admin]

Cyberduck 2.2b5 (Mac OS X)

Almost There

Why would you need Rendezvous and NOT keychain support. Who FTPs to a server on their own network? Price is right though. Try Transmit by Panic. It's about perfect for 20 clams. [alert admin]

Pretty great for us IT guys

I wish it had the option to view as MB or GB, though. Nice and fast. [alert admin]
