SWF Movie Player 1.1 (Mac OS X)
It does what it claims to do. It would be nice to be able to (1) open on-line SWF files given a URL, and (2) jump to a specific frame. [alert admin]

Yummy FTP 1.1.4 (Mac OS X)
If you haven't tried YummyFTP's "AutoRoute" capabilities, you're really missing out. It works like this: if you drag a file (or many files) onto YummyFTP's dock icon, and that file is somewhere inside a local directory associated with one of your Bookmarks, YummyFTP will automatically connect to the relevant server and upload the file to the appropriate remote directory! With the help of the YummyFTP developer, I created a simple AppleScript for BBEdit that allows me to "AutoRoute" the currently open document with a single keystroke (Ctrl-F in my case). It's completely changed the way I work on Web pages. [alert admin]

I just tried out v8, and I'm getting MUCH less choppy video (compared to v7) at the sites I tested. [alert admin]

Garden Golf 1.5.1 (Mac OS X)
The physics are terrible, the music is awful, you can't change the view... do NOT spend $20 on this. [alert admin]

FruitMenu 3.3 (Mac OS X)
I've also found that the "Always show icons" preference is not "sticking" in v3.3. I'm able to edit the .plist file manually, but clearly something's not quite right. [alert admin]

Yummy FTP 1.0.5 (Mac OS X)
Combines all the best features from many other FTP clients, and is HIGHLY customizable. [alert admin]

XBattery 0.6.1 (Mac OS X)
Lots of useful graphs, and it has the ability to show you each battery separately if you have two. My only complaint is that there are too many windows; it would be nice to be able to "dock" them to each other. [alert admin]

CleverKeys 1.05 (Mac OS 9)
about CleverKeys is that -- although they don't tell you this -- you can easily use ResEdit to add to, subtract from, or completely change the menu items that it comes with. I stripped mine down to just "Google Search" and "Usenet Search," and it's pretty handy! One star off for them not providing a configuration tool for easy sans-ResEdit editing. [alert admin]

Go to about:config, then look for this preference: browser.urlbar.clickSelectsAll Set it to true or false, whichever you prefer.

Tabbing to links has always worked. Go to about:config and set "accessibility.tabfocus" to 7.
