CPU History 1.1 (Mac OS X)
I've used the great LoadInDock for ages and when I found this I was sceptic it would be better. I compared CPU usage, memory footprint and leaks between the two. CPU History has a 2 Mb larger memory usage, but uses less CPU and has far fewer leaks. So this is now my CPU usage viewer in the dock. [alert admin]

RBrowser 4.4.6 (Mac OS X)
It may not have a pretty UI like some other FTP programs out there, but this one's a real workhorse. Does the job and does it fast and reliable. Well worth the money and comes with great support. [alert admin]

BatteryInfo 1.5 (Mac OS X)
Cool stuff, but you have left debug = true on in the JS. Easy fix for me, but others my wonder why their console log is overflowing ;) [alert admin]

Namely 2.0.3b1 (Mac OS X)
Looks very promising, but I really would love not to have it displayed in the dock. It's an app that works best as a background-only item or as an NSStatusMenu item. [alert admin]

D2X-XL 1.5.147 (Mac OS X)
Tried it on an iMac Intel Core Duo and a PowerPC G4. Crashes at startup. I followed instructions to the letter. Tried with D2 demo files and original game files. Nada. Giant crasher. [alert admin]

Help please! Why doesn't it work?
You don't need to log out, just close the terminal session and start a new one.

There's a WP plugin/hack to edit pages via ecto. See: http://maisonbisson.com/blog/post/10834/ also referred to from: http://bb.infinite-sushi.com/viewtopic.php?t=1088&highlight=pages I haven't tested this, tho.

Possibly, but so far it's more like a beta version. I just wished it didn't pump the console log full like crazy of redundant info or I'd try it out some more to check what's under the hood.

From the description in software upgrade: "After purchasing music from the iTunes Music Store with iTunes 6, you will also need to upgrade your other computers that purchase music from the iTunes Music Store to iTunes 6." Make your own conclusions.

Don't confuse reversetheplanet.com with reverse.theplanet.com. The latter is what you see and is a part of a hosting company.

That's the version-check. At start up, ecto loads http://kung-foo.tv/ecto2.xml which to verify if it's the latest version. You can turn that off in the Preferences dialog. There's no phoning-home. When you purchase ecto via eSellerate and enter the serial provided, there is a one-time activation. That's all. There is no transmission of private data or whatever.
