Strata 3D CX 5.5.1 (Mac OS X)
I downloaded a lot of different trial to test wich software meet my needs : cinema 4D, Maya, Lightwave products and Strata. I also looked at cheetah 3D. Strata 3D was the best (for me) with it's interaction with photoshop. While some aspects are perfectible, at least this software look like a mac application. I use it to create objects mostly (i render under Vue infinite wich is fantastic at this job). Cheetah 3D is also a great software but lacked some features (but i'm considering buying it too). Note that i use version 5.6 wich seems to have corrected some bugs since version 5.5 [alert admin]

DL help me a lot to keep track of my stuff in a very nice way. I like the whole concept and for me it have been so far quite reliable. If you can afford it, i recommand to get the bluetooth scanner too, it really make life simpler. [alert admin]

This version seems more reliable than previous one with my Windows Mobile 5 phone (HTC). I'm really happy with this software (as i am with the Palm version and the PSP version by the way) [alert admin]

TopoDraw 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)
The HikeTech is great ! while it don't have all the features of some others software (GPSNavx or MacGPSpro), it focus on GPS for hiking and do it well (better than others in some points) for really nice price. It have all the features you need : link with the GPS, calibrate scanned map, put waypoints and route by direct click on the map. It's easy to use ... and the GUI is intuitive, clean, more OSX like than software for GPS. I personnaly definitly added it to my GPS apps, and while i prefer others for boating and so on, HikeTech suite is definitly the easiest to use to prepare a hike with a GPS. Note to magellan owner : HikeTech suite work well with Magellan GPS (at least sportrack series). But you have to take care when preparing waypoints and so on to Magellan's limitation : only 50 waypoints per route, and only 8 char name for waypoints. Else the route won't upload. [alert admin]

Because Logic apps. use pro interface. Note that all pro and prosumes apps from Apple use this dark grey interface (final cut pro, dvd studio pro, motion and so on). So it's normal ! Yann
