I've been using WowMatrix for almost 2 years without a wrinkle. Couldn't live without it. [alert admin]

Path Finder 4.1 (Mac OS X)
I have been using PF and its predecessor for several years and I am yet to witness my first crash on my Power G3, G4. or G5. It blows my mind when I read of someone suffering a crash that could be attributed to PF. I must admit there are occasions where the Finder does rear its ugly head, but a simple click anywhere on the desktop resolves that instantly. And, yes, there's an occasional problem emptying the trash but that's about it. Most reliable and useful software I own. [alert admin]

VersionTracker Pro 3.0.3 (Mac OS X)
For me this version will not run at all. I have downloaded it three times and installed it three times. Even removing the preference file would not help. Refused to let me register when I did that. Reinstalling version version 3.0.1 made everything work just fine. No stars for this version. I await version 3.0.4. [alert admin]

Intego Personal Backup X 10.1.0 (Mac OS X)
Personal Backup X worked for me for nearly a month but then I did a terrible thing. I installed Mac OS 10.2. Personal Backup never ran properly again even after a complete new download and three reinstallations. No one will answer their telephone and emails to support@intego.com go unanswered. There is no reason for me to believe that their version 10.3 will run in OS 10.2 and there is no way I will pay for this software a second time! [alert admin]

I, for one, can't understand this. For me the application plus the site loads in less than 10 seconds and always has regardless of version. And a page loads in less than 1 or 2 seconds on average.

I wouldn't rush to purchase Personal Backup X. It worked quite well for me until I installed OS 10.2. It no longer runs even with the simplist of scripts. I have reinstalled it two additional times and even re-downloaded and installed it. Emails to support@intego.com go unanswered and no one will answer their telephone. I fear that Personal Backup X is an unsupported product.
