Color Schemes 5.1.0 (Mac OS X)
Review of Color Schemes located here
The review at Mac 360 is how I learned about Color Schemes. I'm not color-blind, but I might as well be, for all the color-coordination skills I exhibit. In other words, it seems like this is a perfect tool to help me color-coordinate brochures, signs, and so on. http://www.mac360.com/index.php/mac360/comments/free_mac_color_tool_does_easy_color_schemes/ I hope this helps. Clean Text 4.0 (Mac OS X)
Slow to launch; object to splashscreen
I have been using this app for years, going back to version 2, then version 3. When I saw that this went Universal, I purchased it immediately for my MacBook (1GB RAM). I have NOT loaded Photoshop Elements on this MacBook yet, and won't until it too goes Universal, so I can truthfully say that no app takes longer to launch on my MacBook than this version of this app. In my experience only, of course. I also object to the splashscreen that displays while launching. True, clicking on the splash screen will get you to work quicker than if you don't, but I should not have to do this. I have registered this product and don't need the advertising nor the extra click. If I want extra clicks, I'll switch to a PC. Otherwise, the product works as it should. [alert admin]

FileChute 2.0.8 (Mac OS X)
This app was so easy to set up and use. I was so thrilled with it that I purchased it well before the free-use period expired. What a time-saver when trying to get large files to other people! For them as well as me! I am not overstating this case! I have used dotMac since, well, the beginning, and this piece of software makes my dotMac account much more useful. Right away. Wow. Enough so that it makes it much easier to put up with some of the snafu's that are sometime dotMac. Now I don't know how I could live without dotMac. Apple and dotMac should be grateful for this application. WhitIV [alert admin]
