"Specifically" what does it "DO"?

"Specifically" what does it "DO"? "Greatly enhances the power and usefulness of your beloved Palm Powered Handheld device" doesn't actually tell us anything! [alert admin]

DNSChanger Removal Tool 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Works as advertised

I downloaded and installed this little app. Opened and ran it and it did not find any DNSChanger Trojan Horses. It is a little app designed to entice a person to buy more powerfull software. [alert admin]

Moments Widget 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Nice beginning!

Nice beginning for a potentially useful app! I used "Amnesty Singles" to convert this widget into a stand alone application, tossed several jpgs on it and set it for "slideshow". It does the slideshow very well, BUT it moves the frame around the desktop a little bit. Sometimes it moves up and to the right. It seems to have a problem when landscape and portrait files are used. Sometimes it moves the frame down below the bottom of the desktop. I'd like it anchored to the bottom left of my desktop and there's no option to do that. I have a large folder (full of other folders) with jpgs and I'd like to be able to put that folder into it and have it do the slideshow continuously. [alert admin]

Simple Floating Clock 1.1.1 (Mac OS X)

Very nice first version!

I was excited to see an analog clock for my desktop. Thank you! I have loved the "Chrome Clock" available in Konfabulator and now Yahoo Widgets but it won't work in Leopard. I have a couple of requests or suggestions: Please give us the option to allow other apps to appear in front of it. Right now it is always on top of any other app. Please give us the option to make the numerals and hands in a larger, heavier font and width so it could be seen from across the room if we wanted to. Please give it a simple frame. Several times when I clicked on the option to show it's "Preferences" they did not appear. Thanks again!! Wayne Welsh [alert admin]

DropJPG 3.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Simple Beautiful little app!

The description on VT says it does one thing and I just tried it and it does it very well and quickly. Why would anyone read about this app, download and install it and then rate it low because it doesn't do a lot of things that it didn't say it was going to do in the first place;-) [alert admin]

Still No English

Not everyone whose native language is English jumps to the same sarcastic conclusions that this guy did. Sorry about that! Have a good day:-)

So Simple

How did you send it to the desktop? I copied the URL of the YOUTUBE video I wanted into "Media Snap" and found the choice of audio or video and chose video and hit return and one of the 7 choices listed in "Media Snap" appeared in "Downloads" but nothing happened. Zero progress! I went to the author's website and clicked on "Submit Feedback, feature requests and bugs" and was given a choice of setting up "Mail"…

Subscriptions suddenly lost

Same for me. I'm using a Sony Clie PEG-TG50. 5MB of memory available. Only 2 subscriptions: AccuWeather.com and Cinemark. I've re-installed the software and set it up properly several times to no avail. Oh well, I'll try it once more before giving up on it entirely.
