Outspring Mail 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Not bad

Not a bad looking client. A few suggestions... refine the icons A LOT! They look very poor and unprofessional as well as being a bit too large in general. Overall I like the basic operation. However, for $10 less you can get Powermail which is not only cheaper, but faster, better designed and proven. Still, if I was in the market for a good client and wasn't aware of Powermail, I'd give Outspring a shot. [alert admin]

WebInspector Toggler 1.0 (Mac OS X)

What specifically?

Does this just enable the "Developer" menu in Safari or is there more than that? [alert admin]

Safari Tidy plugin 0.2.5 (Mac OS X)

Easy update

I simply navigated to the SIMBL plug in folder, control-click to Show package contents on the Safari Tidy plug in. Open Contents > info.plist file, and changed the MinBundleVersion to <key>MinBundleVersion</key> <string>5524</string> Works great here on 10.5.2 with Safari 3.1 [alert admin]

FruitMenu 3.7b1 (Mac OS X)

Nope

OS10.5.2 has made it clear how poorly coded all of Unsanity's products are. I've learned to liv without all their junk and my system runs MUCH smoother now. [alert admin]

Kunden 1.3 (Mac OS X)

Okay

Nice start. Items entering is fairly unintuitive. Spend 20 minutes just figuring out how to enter a client, then a project. Perhaps the developer should not focus so much on making everything open in a single window. The UI is so paired down that one can get lost in it and not know how to get to another window. there's little need for 90% of possible input options to open in a sheet. Ran into a few bugs as well. Worth keeping an eye on absolutely, but not ready for prime time yet. [alert admin]

MediaLink 1.2 (Mac OS X)

About time someone did this!

Wonderful product. It's not 100% there for video yet. Many errors and disconnects with video. However music and photos work perfectly. Thanks Nullriver! [alert admin]

A must have app MAYBE - unless you own BBEdit.

BBEdit has a Clippings feature.

Almost, but not quite there...

no.. I was getting a great many server errors with v1.1. However, v1.2 seems to fix a great many of the video errors.

uhmmm

All this widget does is: [your age] times 7 = dog years. That's it. Simple javascript here: function fido (){ document.getElementById('dogyear').innerHTML = document.getElementById('humanyears').value * 7 +" Yrs. Old"; document.getElementById('1').innerHTML = "In Dog Years"; document.getElementById('2').innerHTML = "You Are"; }

PowerMail is the best

Powermail's Mail folder can easily be backed up locally. There is no need for 2 mail applications. I backup my mail folder nightly, then every quarter back it up further and start fresh. Much easier to switch to older files than with Apple's Mail.

Grrr worse than Apple!

QUOTE [all that Goldfish does is install the application and template folder in apps, and a preference file in the user library] This is incorrect. Goldfish also installs many fonts in Library/Fonts. There's more under the hood than you've posted. It would appear you're the developer or some friend of the developer and seems to repeatedly post combative replies to reviews which are not 100% favorable.
