fennel DVDManager 1.8.1 (Mac OS X)
Import of csv or xml does nothing. I'm not retyping thousands of titles. Fix the import and it would be a nice app. [alert admin]

BatchXSLT for InDesign 12.00.03 (Mac OS X)
.... Based on all the "life" demos (yes, that's how they have it spelled, with an f) on their web site. The markup has serious errors. I'd expect 100% valid code for a ~$600 plug in. [alert admin]

Safari Tidy plugin 0.2.8 (Mac OS X)
It would be great if there was the ability to turn off the W3C validation somehow in this latest incarnation. It' simply too slow and, generally, the Tidy display has been sufficient. [alert admin]

Who at VT does Elixer know????
....every little piece of... stuff... at the Elixer site is always posted on VT. Who does he know at VT? Why are his items posted and the 5 BILLION other sites which churn out remarkably similar items get ignored? Is he paying an advertising fee? Dating the head of VT? Someone's long lost cousin? I don't mean to say Elixer's items are bad, they aren't. But they aren't very unique either. Really.. an icon pack for $25 when you can get almost identical icons for free in any one of 50 other places. [alert admin]

iForce Quit 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Why?.. because Command-Option-Escape is too difficult and you just want to fill up Dock space? [alert admin]

Xounds 2.5b1 (Mac OS X)
Thanks Unsanity! There's nothing I love more than when I can install a small little bell or whistle and it makes my entire system unstable. I live for the hours it takes to restore from a backup just to remove all traces of "haxie" junk from my system. Just forget that my system had been rock solid for months before installing this. Just forget that it's taken unsanity over a year to release a beta update to most of their packages. I love Xounds with OS 10.5.6!!! Nowhere else can I be assured that a small 30 second install will result in repeated Finder crashes and system instability while at the same time littering my hard drive with files and not providing an uninstaller. UNSANITY MAKES THE WORST ITEMS IF YOU CARE ABOTU SYSTEM STABILITY. AVOID ALL UNSANITY PRODUCTS. [alert admin]

PlugSuit 1.5.7 (Mac OS X)
I've got SIMBL and several SIMBL plugins working in leopard already. What's the point of this package? SIMBL works just fine in OS10.5.6. [alert admin]

Not using Excel. Exporting a mysql database to CSV and XML, neither structure will import. In fact, they don't even import incorrectly. Select the file, click okay, and nothing happens.

Never mind. I missed the control-click on the W3C tags to turn them off. Perfect! Fantastic work!

Everything is always someone else's fault
Wow, awfully defensive for just a user. Read the reviews... your friends at unsanity are notorious for being slow to update products in addition to creating products that are completely unstable. Their reasoning... read their blog, it's always Apple's fault. Xounds resulted in corrupting a system that has been absolutely rock solid for over 6 months. No crashes, nothing at all. Install Xounds... Finder constantly crashes. Other applications crash rather than playing a sound. Thankfully I just…

For heavens sake update to 10.5.4. There's no reason to run 10.5.2.

You don't have to put up with it.
Markzware Q2ID plug in works wonderfully. If you have old projects in Xpress, convert them all to Indesign for around $200 with the plug in. Best $200 I've spent in a long time. NOTHING "Quark" leaves my office anymore. It may come in as Xpress... but it leaves with an Adobe logo.

Do we REALLY want an Adobe monopoly?
My transparencies are just fine... PDFX-1a baby... flat, RIP-friendly, format straight from Indesign and I can use all the transparent psd and ai files I want. Get with the times man. Your point is moot.

This is a concept with a lot of merit...
Not here. Maybe for 2 monitors, but I run 3 and version 2.x has definite issues with multiple monitors.

Almost, but not quite there...
no.. I was getting a great many server errors with v1.1. However, v1.2 seems to fix a great many of the video errors.
