Saft 10.0.2 (Mac OS X)
Ad/banner blocking in 10.0.2 blocks entire page
If the blocking is on, I cannot go to www.amazon.com/customervotes/ When I clicked an Amazon link in an email, I was redirected to: file:///Applications/Saft.app/Contents/Resources/Saft.bundle/Contents/Resources/space.xml If I put in the address above, it tells me it is an invalid address. The ad/banner blocker should not block an entire page! [alert admin]

Fan Control 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Excellent program, gives you more (and more effective) control than any other fan control app. Apple should make this part of the OS. [alert admin]

WingNuts 2 2.0.3 (Mac OS X)
I downloaded the updater, and it wouldn't work on 2.0.1. I had to re-download 2.0.0 and run the updater on that version. [alert admin]

Harmony Remote 5.3.2 (Mac OS X)
New version released today STILL does not work! ![]()

Today, Logitech released a new version of their software, 5.3.2.10, replacing the previous version (5.3.2.5) which they claimed worked on Intel Macs but did not. This version does not work either. The extension installed is still PowerPC. The first time, one could think they just made a mistake when they released the update. Now they have done it again. How exactly does a programmer release a PowerPC-only update and claim it is Universal when people have told them in their forum and in reports that it is NOT Universal? This is sheer incompetence. Google Earth 4.0.1563.0 (Mac OS X)
While VersionTracker doesn't say so, and neither does the google download page, version 4 IS a Universal app. [alert admin]

Harmony Remote 5.3.2 (Mac OS X)
The kernel extension installed with this update is not universal, so the update does not work. [alert admin]

Yahoo Local Traffic 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
This version is a LOT better. Scrolling makes a big difference, and the widget updates itself now. The only thing that needs to be improved is the organization of the reports. How exactly are they organized currently? I've looked through it, and can't figure it out. I would like to have the reports sorted by either distance or highway. What would be really great would be having a choice. Personally, I don't find it entirely helpful to have to root through 20 or more reports to try to find ones for the highways near me. Yahoo Local Traffic 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Doesn't update, doesn't scroll ![]()

This widget is basically useless because it doesn't update. Right now it's 11 PM and it's showing traffic from 5:41 PM. Also, since there is no scrolling, I can't look through the alerts. If I can't look through all the alerts, what is the point of even having it? Also, just to add insult to injury, while it's sitting there, basically doing nothing, it's using up 111 MB of RAM! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Version 1.0.1 crashed my computer, but 1.0.2 gave me my first AvantGo sync. FINALLY got a subscription I've been paying for for almost a year to work. You ROCK. [alert admin]

Your beef is with Aspyr, who published the original Zoo Tycoon. Zoo Tycoon 2 is published by a different company, MacSoft.

Good question, I have no idea. :P For some reason they distinguish by version numbers instead of year. AFAIK, version 7 (all of them) is 2003, and version 8 is 2004.

You can't update to 8.1. Your iBook came with the World Book 2003 edition. The latest update for that version is 7.3. 8.1 is the latest update for the 2004 edition.
