Fetch Art for iTunes 1.4.0 (Mac OS X)
The installer keeps telling me that there was an error and to try to install again. I'd love to try the software but can't even get it to install. [alert admin]

Chax 1.4.4 (Mac OS X)
This version is crashing. I believe there's a problem with Growl notifications. Reverted back to 1.4.4b3 and all is well. [alert admin]

TV Tracker 2.0 (Mac OS X)
I've had minor login problems on a regular basis, but was always able to click the "Done" button on the back side of the widget to get my listings. But not today... widget refuses to login to Zap2It even though I was able to successfully login via my browser. As with others, no response from developer on this widget or any others. [alert admin]

SpyMe 1.1 (Mac OS X)
I've been using another VNC client but thought I'd give this a try. I never could get it to connect to the server (my other VNC client connected just fine). Furthermore, I had to force quit the app because an annoying dialog box wouldn't go away. [alert admin]

Spy 1.2b1 (Mac OS X)
It looks like this might be great for managing my small college lab. However, the top of the log window (title bar, and half the toolbar) is behind the menubar. Makes it a little difficult to move the window. [alert admin]

The latest version still has some problems. Every time I open Mail, iAlert lists all of the my 400+ unread messages so I have to wade through them every time. Still not sure what the difference between a new message alert and a new message summary alert is in the Mail Plugin screen. It would be nice to have a hierachical system for the mail settings. I have to go through and uncheck 1000+ Exchange Public Folders, so it would be nice to have a way to uncheck the top level folder and have all the subfolders unchecked as well. It also doesn't always display the message subject in the alert box. The iChat and Web sections seem to work OK [alert admin]

The program is very buggy and their tech support is unresponsive. I say stay away if you value your sanity. [alert admin]

MicroGrade 6.0.0 (Mac OS X)
I've been using MicroGrade since OS7. The OSX version is nothing more than putting a new aqua face on the OS9 product. From what I can tell, hardly anything has changed...it's still has all the interface and usability problems of the previous version. And for this they ask $60 for an upgrade!!! Outrageous.
