Screenium 1.0b7 (Mac OS X)
Tried Screenium twice. BOTH times it caused my Mac Pro to lock up - screen freeze requiring a hard restart. When the bugs get worked out this may be a very nice program. [alert admin]

FootTrack 2.3.5 (Mac OS X)
This is really an excellent application for Video "Clip" management. The only thing I am waiting for is HDV 1080i compatability. I own the Sony HDR HC7 and have Tapes piling up waiting for Foottrack to get an update for HDV! Please Hurry! Highly Recommended. [alert admin]

Up until I upgraded to Leopard - Filechute worked flawlessly and was a excellent application. Since upgrading to leopard - I have not been able to uplead large files (300-500mb) and now the application will not even launch. I am uploading to my .Mac account and there is plenty of Bandwidth/memory available. When this gets fixed This will again be a 5 star app. [alert admin]

Toast Titanium 8.0.3 (Mac OS X)
Audio Artifacts in all of ROXIO's products using Leopard
I am experiencing pops, clicks and drop outs as well as at times distorted audio using TOAST, JAM and CD Spin Doctor. I have tried this on 3 different machines and experience the same poor audio issues. TOAST and JAM produce audio distortions in playback/preview track and in the final product CD or DVD burn. CD Spin Doctor - when record is engaged - produces static - pops and clicks during record. [alert admin]

Movie Cutter 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Has Potential But Does Not Seem To Work ![]()

I need a program that will allow me to set in/out points and then batch export the video "snippets" between these in/out points - in other words SAVE the sections of video I have selected with in/out points. Only program that does this I am aware of is Final Cut - and it does not save as batch - you have to do one clip at a time. This program seems to delete footage beetween your set in/out selections - The opposite of what I need it to do. Maybe it is for just getting rid of commercials - ok fine. But when I tried to use it - it did not do anything. The set points did not show up at all. Program may have potential - but appears to be BETA. Also developer site is in German (I Think?), No Help files of any substance and program is not working. [alert admin]

PDFClerk 2.8b2 (Mac OS X)
This is the best PDF combine application I have tried. The developer is extremely professional and interested in addressing user comments and suggestions. Highly Recommended. [alert admin]

Zooom 1.5.1 (Mac OS X)
This is a cool application. Works as described. Includes a very quick tutorial which is helpful (although should tell people to "Activate" Zooom first!). Feature request - in addition to the two primary modes, I would like two more "Modes". 1) a "Windowshade" type mode where the window closes to a single title bar, and 2) a mode where ALL the open windows arrange to the "Magnetic Grid" and resize. and 3) a mode where the window closes and "Falls" down to the "Dock" bar. Cool App! [alert admin]

VisualHub 1.23 (Mac OS X)
Excellent - One Feature Request ![]()

This is an excellent application. Visual Hub is definitely competing to be the best converter for iPod/iTV. I need one of these applications to BATCH convert multiple VideoTS files off the same DVD. In other words I have many DVD’s with multiple VideoTS (VTS) files of many Videos on the single DVD. For example my Bible on DVD has over 50 chapters each with a (VTS) VideoTS for each chapter. Currently all of these apps – try to pick the main feature only to convert. I need an option to convert ALL VideoTS /VTS files and maybe just add a file name 1,2,3,4 etc... To the output mp4’s. An additional option would be to seamlessly add together all VTS files into a continuous Video file. Thank You [alert admin]

I highly recommend this application. The only feature I believe is a must have is the ability to align in the "TIMELINE" both video and audio. As it is you must view a lower left Video window and look up to see your audio time-line. This needs to be more like FCS where the Video and Audio are aligned across the time-line. A little more FCS seamless integration would also be beneficial - ie - your working in FCS - you desire to use SonicFire for an audio track - you simply "control-click" select SonicFire , and it opens (along with FCS) in a window. Still highly recommended. [alert admin]

Mac The Ripper v14 has a work around for this type of DVD deliberate error approach some companies are using. What they are doing (not an expert) is duplicating more than one VTS file and thus only one works the others are "Decoys" in a sense. MTRv14 allows you to visually see all VOB files and select the correct one (usually the first good one.). The other "Rippers" need to figure…

I have not figured out how to ensure a QT or mpeg Video will end up "fitting" on a DVD. But as far as getting good quality - I use Cinematize Pro and DVDxDV Pro to extract DVD to mpeg and I use Episode Pro for conversions. Yes these are pricy apps - but they work really well. I wish I knew of a DV edit application where you could set in…

Well - I sent 2 DVD's at the developers request to him to try to advance his application. I had delivery confirmation, and was expecting to get the two DVD's back as I was told. Well the developer claimed he never received the DVD's even though I sent them to the address he gave me, with delivery confirmation. I was out $50. I will stop my comments and hope he has…

WHatever - I am not going to insult you. Cinematize is superior. If cost is an issue - I suggest you use a PC not a Mac. I am a sinner just like you by the way.

I sent two DVD's to the developer and had delivery confirmation. The developer said he never recieved the DVD's - They were $25 each and He had told me to send them for an issue. When I saw all the other comments about this developer - it was clear that he had stolen (not lost or never received) my DVD's.
