File Stitcher 2.1 (Mac OS X)

Won't Stitch different Bit Rate mp3 files. An application like this is needed. I use "Stitch" which is bundles with Sound Studio - but it has some limitations too. When the developer allows multi-bit rate files to be stitched and also both stereo and mono files together - a user selectable output for mono or stereo, and a fade option between files - then this will be very useful and a 4- 5 star..... Screenium 1.0.2 (Mac OS X)
The Sound is working now so this rises to the top of the list as an excellet app. I have tried several similiar and this is the best. Thank You to the developer. Would still like a quick email developer listing on the web site. [alert admin]

Screenium 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
This app has a lot of potential - could easily be a 5 Star - but since there is NO SOUND in the output movies, and there is NO CONTACT e-mail for the developer, I must at this time rate it almost useless. I can not use it until there is sound - and unable to contact developer. So 2 Star for now and 5 star when this is fixed. [alert admin]

ScreenFlow 1.2 (Mac OS X)
This program is excellent. 10 Stars. I have one feature request and that is an automated way to select a standard Video dimension ie... 4 x 3 ratio etc... Otherwise this is so much easier to use than SnapZPro and does not have the renewable license pain in the XXXX that SnapZ Pro makes you go through every month. Highly Recommended. [alert admin]

Screenium 1.0b7 (Mac OS X)
Tried Screenium twice. BOTH times it caused my Mac Pro to lock up - screen freeze requiring a hard restart. When the bugs get worked out this may be a very nice program. [alert admin]

FootTrack 2.3.5 (Mac OS X)
This is really an excellent application for Video "Clip" management. The only thing I am waiting for is HDV 1080i compatability. I own the Sony HDR HC7 and have Tapes piling up waiting for Foottrack to get an update for HDV! Please Hurry! Highly Recommended. [alert admin]

Up until I upgraded to Leopard - Filechute worked flawlessly and was a excellent application. Since upgrading to leopard - I have not been able to uplead large files (300-500mb) and now the application will not even launch. I am uploading to my .Mac account and there is plenty of Bandwidth/memory available. When this gets fixed This will again be a 5 star app. [alert admin]

OK the SOUND is fixed - Now this is a 5 star. But I did have the audio export selected before - so am glad to see the update version now works correctly.

Mac The Ripper v14 has a work around for this type of DVD deliberate error approach some companies are using. What they are doing (not an expert) is duplicating more than one VTS file and thus only one works the others are "Decoys" in a sense. MTRv14 allows you to visually see all VOB files and select the correct one (usually the first good one.). The other "Rippers" need to figure…

I have not figured out how to ensure a QT or mpeg Video will end up "fitting" on a DVD. But as far as getting good quality - I use Cinematize Pro and DVDxDV Pro to extract DVD to mpeg and I use Episode Pro for conversions. Yes these are pricy apps - but they work really well. I wish I knew of a DV edit application where you could set in…

Well - I sent 2 DVD's at the developers request to him to try to advance his application. I had delivery confirmation, and was expecting to get the two DVD's back as I was told. Well the developer claimed he never received the DVD's even though I sent them to the address he gave me, with delivery confirmation. I was out $50. I will stop my comments and hope he has…

WHatever - I am not going to insult you. Cinematize is superior. If cost is an issue - I suggest you use a PC not a Mac. I am a sinner just like you by the way.
