zsCompare 3.02 (Mac OS X)
When it provides comparison of binary files, then it might be worth the price tag. Until then, I'll be happy to use the "free" command line tools. [alert admin]

iSquint 1.1.1 (Mac OS X)
Could do without the snide (and rather childish) remarks: "What, you think you're better than me?" How old is this guy? Only fallback, doesn't maintain the aspect ratio of the original movie. Thus, the advanced tab is necessary for manual settings, so in answer: "yes". [alert admin]

Acquisition 119.3 (Mac OS X)
I have tried Cabos, and I really don't know what all the fanfare is about, for me it was sluggish, and got very little hits. I didn't even try to download. I always fall back on Acquisition. [alert admin]

I think you missed the point Jazzy...
All the apps you listed require the use of a bluetooth compatible mobile phone. If you read the description carefully, you would have noted this program requires no mobile phone at all. I for one am happy someone thought of Mac users, as programs like this have been available for the PC for ages. [alert admin]

You likely have NetBarrier installed. Go to NetBarrier Overview -> Privacy -> Data -> Surf and turn off "Hide my Apple ID when using iTunes Ministore" That will fix you right up.

You're quite right tugger, Mac viruses have no effect on Mac OSX. However there are Unix viruses and other nasties out there which are quite capable of opening back doors, manipulating and destroying files, and rendering your happy-go-lucky Mac quite useless. You shouldn't drop your guard just yet.
