Speedy Mac 2008 (Mac OS X)
From time to time a great new Mac application is released that change the way we work and enjoy our Mac. This is the case of Speedy Mac 2008b. Really Mac look and feek, easy and intuitive, yet powerful. A real productivity boost, saving clicks and time all day long! Kudos for this jewel! [alert admin]

Canvas 9.0.4 (Mac OS X)
Awkward interface, no true backward compatibility ![]()

It is sad to say that the fantastic interfce of Canvas 3.5.4 on Mac has gone for ever. Current versions like 9.04 have a Windoze-like awkward ugly and complicate anti-intuitive interface. And the Canvas 3.5 files imported or open with Canvas 9.x have lots of flaws. A shame. I hope Deneba (now ADC Systems) addresses these serious issues once and for all. Meanwhile we have been forced to switch to competitor applications. [alert admin]

Excellent. Does exactly what it promises. Only make sure you get version 1.0.1 or later for Mac OS X 10.2.x or later. If not available here (released today!) check out "Single Brain Cell Software" at <http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~cthulhu/sbc/index.html> and then download at <http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~cthulhu/sbc/index.html>. Or get in touch with the author, Andrew at <http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~cthulhu/sbc/index.html>. [alert admin]
