Acquisition 106.3 (Mac OS X)
After giving Acquisition a good review...and defending it, a lot has changed since 106.3 came along. Nice new features, but I have two nasty bugs. 1). Launching Quicktime from within Acquisition causes QT to hang at least 20% of the time. 2). Much worse than that, when starting up Acquisition, for some reason it hangs the network...probably 70% of the time. No internet connection. Have to restart the computer. Neither of these problems can be blamed on anything else. I've been through it enough times to know where the bug is. And it's no coincidence that these other people have smiliar bugs. [alert admin]

X Ball 2.6 (Mac OS X)
Still the best breakout game... 
Still the best breakout game. One recommendation for the developer. In 2.6 the resolution has to be set one size at a time. So if it's set on 1400 x 900 and you want it set on 800 x 500, you have to go through six or seven resolution resets first. I would suggest a pop-up menu. Awesome game though. Thanks... [alert admin]

Acquisition 105.3 (Mac OS X)
I have found that Acquisition is far mores table than Limewire with a lot more features. Limewire went in the trash and I haven't looked back. Acquisition 105.3 has some nice new features. The problem I'm having with 105.3 is that when I leave it running and let my monitor sleep, it doesn't wake up. That didn't happen in 104.2. In fact that has never happened on my computer and only happens now...and only when Acquisition 105.3 is running. Please look into that. It's very important to let an LCD monitor sleep. [alert admin]

You have to buy the game.........and then pay to play? And there's no demo? Figure out that marketing strategy. The game looks like it may be pretty cool, but that's not enough for me to buy the game. We need a demo....with atleast a week to play. [alert admin]

Meteorologist 1.3.1 (Mac OS X)
I've had this program in my menu bar for months now. I don't have any of the problems other people are complaining about (G4 w/ 10.2.8). The only glitch I've ever seen is sometimes when you first launch it, it doesn't respond. But it WILL launch. I saw someone else mention that. Be patient. Just fire it up and move on to something else. It will be there in a minute. I don't know, maybe it's preparing itself in the background. Still my favorite weather app. I like the temp and the conditions icon in the menu bar. [alert admin]
