SRS iWOW 2.0 (Mac OS X)

SRS Labs - No Customer Support

It seems that total lack of customer support (no response to emailed queries) is "business as usual" with SRS Labs. It's completely irresponsible. Here is the contact info for SRS Labs: SRS USA – Head Quarters 2909 Daimler Street Santa Ana, CA 92705 Phone: 949.442.1070 Toll Free: 800.243.2733 Maybe they need to be inundated with phone calls and letters from irate customers who have gotten no replies to emailed issues (and there appear to be quite a few). IPNetSentryX 1.6c3 (Mac OS X)

Unneeded in Tiger?

If you've got Stealth mode enabled in OS 10.4, why would you need IPNetSentry? This app is useful for OS 10.3 and below but not needed in Tiger, right? Correct me if I'm wrong. After all, this app is $60, why spend it if you don't need to. [alert admin]

Swirl 1.1 (Mac OS X)

Nice.....

....but it takes about 15 seconds to start swirling. Would be nicer if the color combinations changed while in motion; the color combos change only each time the screensaver is activated. It also would be a plus if the points from which the swirls emanate would move about the screen, but they remain static. [alert admin]

Startup Chime Stopper 2.2 (Mac OS X)

There's no reason to pay ANY money for a chime stopper......

....when there are perfectly good FREE ones out there, such as "Psst!", which I've been using for quite a while. [alert admin]

QuickSnap 1.1 (Mac OS X)

Just Another Reinvention of the Wheel

QuickSnap works fine but why pay $15 for it when there are free alternatives available which work just as well. [alert admin]

Pixel Tester 3.3 (Mac OS X)

15 Euros/20 US DollarsFor THIS???!!!

There are a number of pixel testers out there that are free and work just fine. This one is horribly overpriced.....as is most of the other software on this developer's website. [alert admin]
